"I think you should bury it in a special place, as a grave to Tok," you tell Duke.
He sighs, "you're right. I need a place to grieve. I think I know a place." He grabs the collar from your paw and trots off. You follow him. You follow him for about an hour heading north. You climb up a small hill. At the top is a large tree. The hill overlooks most of the forest. It is beautiful.
The afternoon sun makes the sky a light blue. You see a flock of spearows fly in the distance, it feels like you can see forever. "When I started hunting for Moki I ran across this place. I was stunned. I thought this would be a good place to lay down and die. I hope one day, when I'm old and sick, I can come die here. Dogs think about that kind of stuff," he laughs. "I'll bury it under this tree as a grave to Tok. When I do die, I want it to be here, with her spirit."
He begins digging. He digs a deep hole and places the collar at the bottom. He sits down, looks and starts crying. With a choked up voice he says, "Tok told me in my dream that if I forgave myself that we might get to see each other again someday." He breaks down sobbing, "God, I hope that's true." He leans on you and cries for a good five minutes. You hold him and cry too.
He settles down and pushes some dirt over the collar. "I want you to help me bury it too Lulu. This wouldn't be possible without you. I think Tok would have loved you."
You push some dirt over the collar. You and Duke finish filling the hole. Duke pats it down making the dirt tight. "Thank you Lulu," he sighs, "there's a stream nearby I'm parched, let's get a drink."
You and Duke walk down the hill together. The stream is small but clean. It's spring fed so it's nice and cool. Duke walks over and starts lapping up the water. You walk up right next to him and do the same.
You look over at him, he looks back and smiles. You don't know why but you feel a bit playful. You lean over and bump his shoulder. He bumps you back. You jump up on his back and grab his ears. "Giddy up pony," you shout.
He laughs "hey now, you'll have to break me first." He rolls over, you fall off his back. You and Duke playfully wrestle for a bit, laughing together. He pins you with one of his paws, your back to the ground.
He is smiling at you. You stop playing, you are scared. This is the exact position you were in when he almost bit your neck. All the negative experiences with Duke flood back into your mind. He notices this and asks sincerely, "are you afraid of me still?"
You nod yes. He doesn't say anything and leans in for a kiss. You are tense at first but relax and kiss him back. Your tongues lock and you make out for minutes.
He pulls back the kiss, saliva strands connect your mouths. You look down between his legs and see the tip of his red prick. He leans back down and kisses you again. You make out for a bit longer. You piss a little letting him smell your heat.
He pulls off your lips and sniffs the air. He looks down at you and says, "Lulu, I... I like you, even when we first met. I know, I know, I have a funny way of showing it," he laughs, "but I don't think I would have even talked to you if I didn't like you. You know more about me than anyone. If most Pokémon knew half as much about me as you do, they would run away but you're still here. I don't know how to ask this so I'll just be blunt. Will you be my life mate?" It's highly irregular for prey and predator to become life mates but you want to become his bitch. You've secretly wanted to since he first pounced on you.
You'll have to give up your journey for Thunder Mountain. This will be the end of your adventures; you aren't sure you want it to end here. You like Duke enough. What do you do?
