First Realizing Your Vore Fetish

I've see plenty of people mention where they discovered vore, but I'm interested in when people first realized that it was a fetish for them. I know I liked it since I was very young- way younger than I think would be considered normal -but I didn't really realize that it was an erotic concept to me until I started writing vore stories. When I went back and reread what I had written, I was honestly shocked how sexual I made it. I legitimately hadn't realized until then that vore turned me on. Does anyone else recall having an experience like that?

Many, have made posts, like this. But, it's still a fun topic, to discuss. The earliest, I can recall, being fascinated, by vore, would most definitely come, in the form, of the famous 1997 film, 'Anaconda'. (I've even written a story about it, check out my story, "Beware the Amazon") . I remember, watching the snake, swallow the villain whole, but being greatly disappointed, that neither of the only two females, in the film, were swallowed. I was, five? I think? When I first, saw that film. Then, I also recall, being greatly, fascinated by the hot Saffron Burrows, being nommed , by the shark, in the film; "Deep Blue Sea". Thus, began my fascination with monster/horror, films, specifically, movies on the SciFi channel on television. I would always, ALWAYS, pine for the sexy eye candy women, to be eaten. And if you, were a fan of the SciFi films, you'd know, how they are HORRIBLE, mediums to satisfy your vore urge I remember thinking and feeling, like something was wrong with me, being sexually excited by women getting eaten?! It wasn't until 2011, that I realized vore was a thing. And ever since then, I've felt better, knowing, that I wasn't weird, for being into this fetish, and that there an entire community of people, that advocate for it!

Same hat? I also loved vore back before I can even fully remember. Must have been around 4-5 years old or something like that. Honestly, when it became erotic for me is the thing I can't remember at all, but anyway, when you say "first realize," what comes to mind is the day I learned vore was a thing, and that I wasn't alone. I was around 10 or 11 years old, looking for a desktop background of Octavia and Vinyl (Yes, the ponies. I was That Kid. RIP in peace brony fandom.) and stumbled across same-size vore fanart of the two. Same-size was so bizarre to me at first, as I had only ever daydreamed micro vore, but yeah, deviantart fanfics is what got me on the train. Not planning on hopping off, and couldn't be happier to love the things I do!

For me it was more of a slow burn. I learned about it in middle school when a close friend became super into it and just started telling everyone in our friend group about his fetishes, even carrying a big bundle of printed out fetish stories to read and show off at basically all times. I was disturbed but intrigued, and it actually brought us closer since it made me open up about my own fetishes that I'd been getting into, some of which had some crossover with vore.

Later on I began to enjoy vore a bit more, mostly in specific scenarios that made it work with other fetishes I already had. It wasn't until relatively recently that it became something I'd actively seek out as one of my favorite fetishes. I'm not entirely sure why, but I think it's because it just seems so wrong and dark that it just clicks something for me, though I still like it more when it happens to play to other fetishes I have of course.

I was super young when I started fantasizing about being eaten... maybe 5 or 6? Maybe even younger. Even this early it was kind of sexual for me (proto-sexual?). My fantasies always involved being naked, and often featured the predator savoring the taste of my more "tender bits." I was a weird and pervy kid.

I think it maybe began with fairy tales, particularly those that featured a helpless princess/virgin being sacrificed to a hungry dragon. Of course in my mind, it was boys like myself that were stripped naked and tied up outside the dragon's cave. And no knight in shining armor ever showed up to save the day. But choose-your-own-adventure style books CERTAINLY played a roll in awakening my fetish. I had all of the vore-ish endings bookmarked for later *ahem* reference. I liked the mocking tone that a lot of these books would use for these endings, like the author was making fun of me for getting myself eaten. Eventually, I started writing my own interactives about man-eating amazon women, blob monsters, ravenous anacondas, and gluttonous dragons (I still remember my first story quite vividly). I must of been in 4th grade when I started writing interactives, and I haven't stopped since!

Oh boy this topic's a doozy for me. I think that vore was always an erotic concept for me, but I don't think I was comfortable with it's erotic effect on me until I was somewhere around 16. Before then, I would try reading looking for less sexual vore types, though with very little success. For example I started leaning towards M/M vore arguing that it can't be sexual for me at that point, because I was straight, right? ( I wasn't, nor am I now.)

Anyways, vore was somewhere between kink and intimacy for me for a long time, though I wouldn't fully accept that until I was in my mid teens. And I wouldn't really accept my predatory tendencies or stop thinking about them as selfish until I tried out Eka's chat RP just over a year ago and discovered to my surprise that most voraphiles want to be eaten. You can imagine my shock at that too.

I can't name exact ages, I would place it firmly in single digits, but it definitely started early on. I think when I first realized I like the concept was with an anatomy book I had for some reason. (The target audience was definitely kids my age, it wasn't a textbook.) I kept rereading the section on the digestive system, for reasons that are now obvious. It probably started earlier, but that book is the first memory I have relating to my own vore fantasies. I also sometimes though about it on my own time, usually lying in bed before I fell asleep. I doubt any specific event caused it, there's nothing in my past that I could attribute it to. In terms of when it became sexual, that was pretty much from the beginning. I only found out about vore as a concept when making unrelated internet porn searches in my teenage years.

As a side note, I wish I could remember half of the scenarios my young brain came up with. Not having the established conventions of vore in place made my imagination come up with some pretty interesting stuff.

I first started having vore fantasies back when I was, oh, twelve years old or so. I'd actually call myself a thanatophile, more than anything, because around that time, I discovered that I had a genetic condition that could very well have killed me before it was discovered. It's managed, now, but there were a few years between discovery and diagnosis when I honestly had to face my own mortality -- when I wasn't sure I'd live to see 18 -- and it somehow got subsumed into my budding sexual awareness at the time. Basically, I got off on imagining what it'd be like to die. But one of my most impactful fantasies -- one I only ran through once that I can remember, but that I still remember to this day -- was imagining my mother trussing me up like a turkey and cooking me in the oven.

Later, when I was in college, I stumbled upon SomethingAwful, where there was a thread on some really shitty vore games. This was back in 2005 or so, so the community was less developed. Until that point, I thought my fantasies were completely out of the ordinary, but that was the point where I discovered that voraphilia was a thing. From there, I found the DisturbedThings forum, and have slowly accumulated a bunch of sites that I can go to for vore-themed content, Eka's included.

And so I'm here.

That's an interesting way to realize your fetish. I first got the hint when I was watching vore scenes from movies starting with Dude, where's my Car? A lot of vore scenes made me have to pull my covers up to hide my feelings if you know what I mean.

I learned it was a thing on the Internet like everyone else unless they have a friend who is into it. It started looking at pokemon stuff on Google images then Deviantart. I stumbled upon "Eaten by Ninetales" by Forces Werewolf. A handful of other images and a few Google searches later and I learned vore is totally a thing other people have.

A not-too-lucid analysis makes me think about the exiguous limit between a phobia and a philia, since I remember that, at first, I was utterly terrified.

I was six years old when an elementary school play involved a glutinous red fox who rubbed his belly and sang "And when I want a big-bellied meal, I don't cook, I just steal" after having "eaten" the main chicken protagonist. This gave me strange feelings inside, some sort of pre-puberty fascination, I can still remember it with vivid detail almost twenty years later. I watched it literally hundreds of times, at night when nobody else could see. It made me feel very attracted to the concept -- not *precisely* aroused, but absolutely obsessed with the concept to the point where I couldn't stop watching for hours. I linked from this onto lots of other videos of snakes eating animals. Around the age of eleven, I used to guiltily watch the Anaconda movies late at night when my family was asleep. So from the very beginning of puberty, vore was intertwined with my interests.

When I was a little older, this moved to a fascination towards the Little Red Riding Hood story (incidentally, I still think that there isn't enough good smut/art done on that story), and I rewrote versions of that story for myself and fantasized about being Little Red, reading it hundreds of times over and over... At least until my parents caught on. They put internet filters on our home computer to keep me from accessing any vore smut, though I did find SOME ways to get around it.

I was very conflicted until college, at which point I had bigger problems (such as crippling depression -- don't worry, I've recovered) and dove head-first into vore porn with my new-found freedom.

Fast forward a few years, and now I write the stuff! Life has many strange twists and turns.

I'd say that it was almost... a nonsexual fetish/fascination since at least the age of nine, and quite possibly since the age of six? It became a *proper* sexual fetish somewhere in my mid-to-late teens.
