Sex for 53 hours? No way that's possible! Surely they would have called for a 5-minute break to eat 10 people each after the first hour. Can't let a girl go hungry, can we?

...Okay, as someone who's currently burned out on mass vore and "You were tasty, wonder who's next on the menu?" kind of preds, this was a cathartic read. :gulp:

I wouldn't say that any of these tags: "mass vore", "disregard of life", "goddess pred" is a dealbreaker for me, but the combo of the three almost certainly is. Evil, downright sadistic preds might succeed, and I can enjoy ravenous preds and mass vore from time to time, but I'm usually rooting for those kinds of preds to face some setback, maybe even get eaten themselves - after all, if a pred who eats three people in a week is haughty, one who eats entire families in a day is a special kind of megalomaniac.

If someone, on top of being able to eat entire cities, is also an unstoppable overdeity free from consequences, well, then you can say goodbye to any chance at justice in that setting - the deity pred could perhaps bring a sense of purpose to their binges by using reality-bending powers to reform their prey, transfer their consciousness to a mini-paradise, isekai them, something, but chances are that the pred is too conceited to even give that kind of thought to meals they value as less than an individual fry...

Yeah - I don't really like Predators that just eat Prey with no consequences. Heck, if the Prey was on good terms with another Predator, one might expect some sort of retaliation. Likewise, I like things where things don't always go the Predator's way, like maybe the Intended-Prey-to-be happens to know how to kill the Predator, and has no issues giving them a bad day.

I mean, give me something akin to Spoon's fistfight with a werewolf in "Dog Soldiers" - sure, he becomes chow, but he at least puts up a fight (same with most of the unit).

Yeah - there's a few stories I've read around here that have "Resistance" groups that are so pathetic, the Curfew Breakers from "I, Robot" would be seen as a more suitable "Resistance" force.

I mean, the one story I read had a "Resistance" group that got beaten by wolves - not Werewolves, or Wolf Anthros - but ordinary, pre-Fido, wolves. Also, to make the group even MORE pathetic, the group didn't even have the oldest known forms of weaponry - clubs, spears, knives, axes, and other caveman-era type weapons. Sure, they had their hands and feet for punching and kicking, but even a monkey knows to grab a hefty stick to bash in the head of an enemy, or a pointed one to stab them in the guts.

Well, they did at least manage to get a few kills before the robots obliterated them in melee. Not too terrible for untrained civilians.

Maybe the resistance had secretly lost all hope, and figured that dying to a pack of wild wolves was still better than being paraded around and hanged by the evil government they were resisting? :gulp:

I like both prey that goes down swinging or even manages to turn the tables, but in frankness I also enjoy prey that ends up as prey by spectacularly throwing in a fight or disregarding the most common sense precautions (like turning their back to a stranger they just met in the woods). A "pred" who grossly misplays their hand can become prey to a "prey" who behaved in a smarter, more determined manner than them, this way.

I might open a thread on this.

Well, if you're curious as to the story I'm talking about, I'll send you a PM - I respect the writer enough to not just dox them, as it were.

Okay, so a niche one that occurred to me. I'm already not a fan of reformation in general, I feel like it kind of defeats the purpose of a digestion ending if the prey comes back, but I can onboard with it if there's something intriguing enough about the rest of the scenario. What's a complete dealbreaker beyond that is when reformation exists in the setting, yet staying dead is somehow treated as *preferable* to being reformed. Willing fatal prey is already kind of weird to me on a psychological level, but that extra element pushes it over into so alien a mindset that I'm fundamentally incapable of enjoying it.

I can understand that. Of course, if there was like the equivalent of a DNR (and the acronym fits), and the person has been around for a long enough time..... one never knows.

Whether fortunate or unfortunate, I have quite a few. It helps with limiting consumption of what is essentially pornography to me but it also gets exceedingly frustrating because of how many common things break the deal for me. Tho the ones I wanna talk about are reformation and burps. Burps there isn't much to say other than the fact that they are literally everywhere and I have in total found a single game that gives the option to turn them on or off, which just kinda sucks so I've had to pretty much "anticipate" them. Reformation as a concept really bugs me though. I'm a big fan of safe vore but reformation just feels like a copout. In my opinion, it seems to be for someone who likes digestion but is afraid of the consequences. Unfortunately, I just can't see the appeal, as it just kind of seems like "worst of both worlds" to me.

I get you here. While they are no dealbreaker for me (I quite like them in fact), I don't have an outright burp fetish and seeing too much art with mighty belches will eventually give me burnout.

As someone who enjoys just about anything on the "endosoma <-> fatal with permadeath" scale I see digestion with reformation as an intermediate point which leans closer to "fatal with permadeath" than "endosoma". The prey is broken down and added to the predator's body, and can be graphically melted and traumatized in the process which lends itself well to dark and macabre scenarios, even with reformation acting as a light at the end of the tunnel. Or it can be used for a cuddly and pleasant dynamic from start to finish, but so can scenarios where a willing prey is digested without reformation nor resurrection.

Personal Turnoffs:
Not Dealbreakers, but unwanted:
Gassy - Too much burping and pretty much any farting make it much less enjoyable. Not quite a dealbreaker, but it can turn an otherwise decent/good story into something I no longer enjoy.
Anal - Not a fan. A lot of the time, it leads to scat, in some way or another, and thus can become a dealbreaker, but if it has other types of vore, I can handle it being there. Preferably with not too much detail.
Foot/Paw-play - Not a fan of feet. Often comes with musk-play (and armpits), which would also be on this list, so I won't add it since I mentioned it here. If I can skip it, and it doesn't lead to constant 'stench' references or whatever, I can ignore it, but it definitely brings down my experience.
Massive size Difference - I'm not a fan of vore where the prey is so small that the pred can't really tell they're there. I want them big enough for Maw play, as mentioned down below. If they're a spec of dust, there's nothing special about the act. It's like swallowing a gulp of air for the pred. Entirely unsatisfying. I put this here, instead of in Dealbreakers because if it starts at a more reasonable size, it just makes me lose interest in the rest, but if I enjoyed the story up to that point, it just drops my interest.

Dealbreakers:
Scat - Not a dealbreaker, as long as it's skippable. If it's in a image, it needs to be small, at the end, and something I can ignore. If it's' a story, it also needs to be at the end, so I can get the gulping without having to go through it, I generally avoid ANY art or stories with a scat warning.
Diapers - Same as Scat, pretty much. It's not quite as bad, but it still is almost universally together with scat. I just don't get scat and diaper fetishists. No hate, just...why? *shudders* Note: Please don't elaborate, it was rhetorical.
Hard Vore - 100% avoid. Not a fan of blood and guts. I prefer soft, pleasurable vore. Generally for both parties, detailed mawplay with lots of licking, tasting, and pleasuring the prey, is one of my favorite things.

And that's basically it. Beyond that, it's just about the quality of the writing/drawing, gender pairings, etc. But those were excluded by the OP, so that's all folks.
