Mermaids

Mermaids are beings with the upper bodies of women, and the lower bodies of fish(occasionally there will be some with the upper bodies of men, making them ofcourse, Mermen). Do to their physiology, some mermaids have dual stomachs. The human one, and the fish one, sometimes they're depicted with one or the other, sometimes both, it's all a preference of their creator. There are as many different types of mermaids as there are fish. While most of these differences can be seen as purely cosmetic, there are some differences between them. For example, Mermaids with eel, or sea-snake like traits can ingest quite alot of prey, due to their ability to open their mouth's wide and their elongated stomachs, much like a naga. Being part fish generally relegates these creatures to the water, however, depending on the type of fish the mermaid happens to be, it is possible for some of them to travel on land for certain periods of time.

Sometimes thought of the as humans of the sea, they are actually closer in relation to faeries, and therefore often have powerful magic abilities, although their are many exceptions. Despite being, well, fish, and their primary diet consisting of fish (and the occasional scubadiver) there stomachs are suprisingly plesant smelling. This is attributed to the genes the share faeries, but again, there are many exceptions. Despite being notorious at devouring humans out at sea, they are actually quite docile, and often a primary food source for other underwater predators, including whales, jellyfish, octopus, giant squid, sharks, and all forms of morphs. Some mermaids can hide in anenome, like a clown fish, while others will be caught in eaten by it. Their are two types of mermaid, salt water and fresh water. Fresh water mermaids are generally smaller and more reclusive, prefering solitary living as opposed to living in schools like their seawater kin. Although the have the benefit of lacking undersea predators, there closeness to land makes them more vulnerable to land based predators, and catgirls are known to consider these fishy maidens a delicacy, especially enjoying the way the tail wiggles and flops in their bellies. One of the smallest mermaid types is also one of the most deadly, the pirahna mermaids travel in large groups and tear away the flesh of anyone they capture. Unlike their namesake, these can also be found in the ocean, and are often the cause of the reports of swarms of vicious mermaids that eat and chew flesh.

Do not confuse mermaids with shark girls, for unlike mermaids, shark girls have a fanged mouth just under where there body and tail connects, and this as earned them the nickname the Kari of the sea. It should be noted that mermaids have extremely sensitive breasts, that respond possitively to ever rough treatment, like from octopus tentacles, so if you want to excite one of these exotic beauties, nothing beats oral stimulation of the breast region. They might even produce magical milk just for you.
