Disney´s Brave Little Tailor (1938; short movie) Classic Disney short (Oscar nomination for "Best Animated Feature") that retells the story of the Brave Little Tailor. In this one, a terrible giant threatens land, and the desperate people mistakingly think of Mickey´s killing of seven flies at once to be giants. He is then sent to kill the giant for real, with the king offering the hand of his daughter Princess Minnie as a reward. Mickey eventually encounters the giant, who is of course completely oblivious to our heroic mouse´s presence, and in order to escape a grim fate under the giant´s sandals, Mickey runs away from the walking giant, until he decides to hide in a wagon full of pumpkins. This is where the endoso (in this case, it is the vore aspect of endoso) sequence begins. The giant sits down right next to the wagon of pumpkins, and being terribly hungry, he reaches with his hand for some pumpkins...and unfortunately picks up Mickey as well, and of course the giant does not notice. The giant throws the pumpkins into his mouth one by one, and eventually, we see Mickey rolling through the giant´s mouth, but shortly before Mickey falls down his esophagus, he is able to grab his dangling uvula. As this action of Mickey causes the giant some hiccups, he tears a well out of the ground in order to take a drink and get rid of the hiccups. And of course, as the giant opens his mouth wide, Mickey is trying to climb over his teeth and to escape, only to be greeted by the masses of water the giant drinks, washing him down his throat. Then we are treated with the sight of Mickey dangling inside the giant´s vast stomach, before the giant himself pulls Mickey out again. Quite a remarkable sequence for a Disney short of the late 30s, and it´s indeed kinda unique to see a Disney cartoon with such a sequence. But it´s really nicely done, the insides of the giant´s mouth and the glimpse at his stomach (with all the pumpkins he swallowed floating in the water he drank) look quite detailed for such an old cartoon, and it´s admittedly a suspenseful scene. And it´s also one of the best Disney shorts around, of course! Definitely worth watching, primarily for vore fans, but endoso fans will enjoy this charming short for this scene as well.

Norman Normal (2000; animated cartoon) Episode: "Das Schrumpf-Fahrzeug" ("The shrink-vehicle") Chances are you´ve never heard of this cartoon series before, which is not really a surprise, considering that it´s a German-French co-production, having aired for the first time on German based channel SuperRTL. So perhaps our German based members of this website (like myself...^^) are familiar with this one, and if not, here´s a short summary of the show´s premise: the story revolves around the 13 year old boy Norman Normal who happens to be - as his last name already suggests - a fairly normal boy. However, one day, as his family has gathered in the kitchen in order to start the day in a - you guessed right - normal fashion, their microwave oven goes haywire, and being exposed to the microwaves, every family member - except for Norman - suddenly gains super powers: Norman´s father has become some sort of a Superman-wannabe with incredible strength, his mother (now called "Lady Fantastic") now has the ability to fly and to use telekinesis, his 4-year old sister Suzie suddenly is a genius able to come up with masterful plans...well, and their dog George can even talk now due to this incident, being the wisecracking comic relief of the show. Each episode practically revolves around the battle of the superhero family against the forces of evil in all its wacky incarnations (like the evil and completely ridiculous professor "Zehnmalklug"...), while Norman has to struggle with the fact that he is the only normal member of the family now, which he sometimes regrets (after all, who wouldn´t want to be a superhero himself?). Anyway, being a humorous cartoon in every single respect, it´s not even a surprise that there has also been an endosomatophilia based episode, which of course involes Norman as the "host", so to speak... In this episode, Suzie once again proves herself to be an amazingly talented little genius by inventing a shrink ray, and of course, the family immediately wants to test the device. Shrinking themselves down to microscopic size and entering a submarine-like vehicle (does that sound familiar? ^^), they want to surprise Norman (who´s still asleep in his room) by waking him up in a rather unusual way. Suzie flies the sub close to his ear, and his mother uses the external speakers in order to tell him to wake up in a rather harsh way (being a mother and all...). Eventually, Norman awakes, sitting upright in his bed now, but he thinks that the voice of his mother was part of a nightmare. Unfortunately, the submarine ends up in front of Norman´s face, and as he begins to yawn, he accidentally sucks the submarine into his mouth and down his throat, with his family eventually landing inside his stomach - and at first, he of course has no idea what just happened. What follows is the usual stuff, with his family trying to get out of his body again, for example by getting in contact with him and seeking his help. Unfortunately, I´ve never seen the entire episode, but you can find a nice short clip of the swallowing sequence on youtube.com. As for the show itself, whoever can understand German might want to give it a try, since it´s pretty similar to the concept of the terrific movie "The Incredibles" - only wackier and more humorous.

The Tick (1994; animated cartoon) Episode: "The Tick vs. Dinosaur Neil" Now who doesn´t have fond memories of this wonderfully ironic and hilarious superhero spoof? ^^ I am sure that there might be some who see the big, lovable and dim witted blue Tick as their favorite superhero of all time. And being a show with the theme of weirdness written all over it, there were also some episodes containing a lot for vore and endosomatophila fans to love. And the first episode of "The Tick" to contain at least a small part revolving around vore would be "The Tick vs. Dinosaur Neil", with some images of that episode already appearing in the show´s intro. Anyway, the episode starts with Tick and his sidekick Arthur paying a visit to a Dinosaur Field Park, since, according to Tick, superheroes have a duty to enhance their wisdom for the sake of fighting crime even more effectively - or something like that. ^^ There they meet a scientist called Dinosaur Neil, who shows them around a little and eventually reveals to them that he is in possession of an actual dinosaur cell that he keeps in a special substance on a petri dish in order to keep it from growing. However, Neil mistakes the cell for his snack and accidentally eats it, and from then on, he slowly turns into a Godzilla-sized half man/half dinosaur creature, since he is unable to take the "remedy" in time. Tick and Arthur of course can´t help but notice the humongous creature making its way through the city, but at first, Arthur does not want Tick and him to go and save the day, because his sister Dot paid a visit, and he wants to show her that the two of them can lead a fairly normal life, despite Tick´s desperate attempts to convince Arthur of this being their duty. Arthur then figures out that the special substance Neil originally kept the dinosaur cell in was mere aspirin, so they ask a pharmacist to create an aspirin big enough for a dinosaur sized creature. As our two heroes prevent the national guard from firing at Dinosaur Neil, since they want to save him, Tick tries to find a way to get Neil to swallow the aspirin, but this question is being made easier for him by the fact that Dinosaur Neil is standing directly in front of him and tries to eat Tick, with our big blue hero ending up inside Neil´s huge mouth along with the giant aspirin. There, he´s being crushed under Neil´s enormous teeth, but thanks to Tick being nigh invincible, he´s only getting a little dizzy from this experience. He then rushes toward the back of Neil´s mouth and clings to his uvula, throwing the aspirin down Neil´s esophagus. It seems like Tick saved the day, but unfortunately, another hero named The Human Bullet (obvious comic relief) screws things up by shooting himself at Neil´s belly (even though he just wanted to help), which causes the man/dinosaur to cough the aspirin up again, trapping it in a pool of saliva beneath his tongue. What follows is a "climatic" battle between Tick and Neil´s tongue, but he eventually emerges victorious and wrestles the tongue down, taking the aspirin and throwing it down Neil´s esophagus yet again (this time doing it "football-style"). Tick gets out of Neil´s mouth, and the scientist transforms back into his human form. At the end of the episode, we witness Neil and Arthur´s sister (who has finally managed to adapt to her brother´s hero life style) dating each other, already hinting at the premise of a later Tick episode involving endosoma/vore. This vorish sequence might be quite short, but thanks to the Tick being involved, it ends up being quite a funny sequence that is also being made more interesting by providing the viewer with some detailed (and somewhat gross) inside shots of Neil´s mouth. If you want to watch it, there´s still a 10 minute clip of that episode on giantessgarden.de.
