Onix looks down at you with sad eyes. You think a bit and realize just how lonely the poor Pokemon must be. You remember something you brought along, just in case. You reach in your backpack and pull out an Ultra Ball that you got for your birthday from a friend. "I think now is as good as a time as any." you say. "Oniiiix!" Onix exclaims with glee. You reach your arm back and throw.
As time passes, you and Onix enjoy exploring caves together. Onix is able to help you cross many obstacles that you normally couldn't. You make memories of some pretty sights and rare Pokemon that you see. Not only do you explore caves, but on some occasions, you explore Onix and his body.
