This looks like a quick access for the staff to reach the opposite wing of the mansion without stepping into the courtyard.
You walk with the vulpine to the end of this hall. You discover that this end of the hall has collapsed. However, you can see that there is enough space under some wooden beams for you two to slide through one at the time.
“Behind this there is another collapsed section of the hall. The collapse left a hole which leads to a room with kennels for beasts. That kennel room is the main access to the courtyard. I don’t know why you want to go that garden. As soon as you step in, there's a strange, oppressive energy in there. The feeling that something is observing you is unbearable. I swear I saw a pair of avian-like wings stalking me from the shadows. Thinking about it gives me the shivers.”
The blue and orange Fox ducks down to take a look under the collapsed wooden beam before standing up.
"We haven't encountered any of those monsters yet. Perhaps they are at the Kennel Room."
Speaking about strange things, you have seen the mysterious vulpine to do weird things on your way here. Things that are as strange as the monsters she describes. You might need to leave her behind and have a moment for yourself. You are having second thoughts about taking this Fox with you.
The Fox releases a wide grin before digging her eyes on you.
“But it doesn’t matter because we are going together into the kennels. Once you see the courtyard, you will take me along with you. Yes you will.”
You have the feeling that this Fox is planning something at the courtyard. Sh-she can't come with you just yet! You have to split yourself away, from the Fox, and maybe think about a way to deal with her in case she is possessed by a demon.
Or you could let her to keep on guiding you. After all, obeying her feels good.
