Nothing much you can do besides waiting for your parents to wake up. Plus your parents aren't usually in bed this late so they'll probably wake up real soon, right? You back your backpack with the school supplies you need for today in order to save time to get on the bus. As you finish backing your bags your parents still aren't up. You are starting to get a bit worried, they definitely don't sleep in this long, but you sill don't go upstairs to wake them up for you know the punishment. You decide to read to pass the time. You head over to the bookshelf and thick, hard, covered book called "Star Vores" before taking to the couch to read. You read through a chapter of the book and hey, this is pretty good. Your stomach rumbling audibly snaps you out of your reading. You give your belly a few good pats in attempt to soothe it... it doesn't work. You sigh as you lean back lazily on the couch, both bored and hungry out of your mind you are starting to get frustrated on how long your parents are taking.
At 7:12 your father finally comes down in a rush with a worried look on his face.
"Good Morning Carla, sorry I took so long getting up, I had no idea how late it was." You barely were able to process what he said before he runs to the kitchen in frantic attempt to make breakfast as soon as possible. Your dad grabs a kettle, fills it with water, practically slams it one the stove top before setting it on high and grabbing the oats from the cabinet. You can clearly tell he is in a rush to get this done. It's 7:17 when the kettle finally goes before your father takes it off the stove and pours it into bowls full of oats.
"Okay Carla it's ready. Your gonna have to eat fast to make the bus. Well i suppose you can still walk to school but that's less than ideal. Sorry again for waking up late, ugh I had a long day at work yesterday." You eat your oatmeal as fast as you can before saying goodbye to your dad and saying a quick hello and goodbye to your mom who was just coming down the stairs. You rush outside to the bus stop hoping you made it in time.
The bus arrives at your house at 7:20 it is now 7:22. DAMNIT! You just missed the bus. You're gonna have to walk to school now... or maybe you can walk somewhere else. Wait, where did that thought come from. Well there is a whole city to explore but that would get you into serious trouble with your parents. You should probably wait till Saturday and Sunday till you do that or you can do it right now. You don't know should you walk to school or head somewhere else?
