You have a bad feeling about this. Other than others mothers your Mom has never allowed you to stay home when you weren't ill. The fact that she does it now makes you worry. Not only that but since she found out what you are watching online she is behaving strange like she is waiting for an opportunity to "speak" with you.
She looks at you with a smile like she could see how your brain is working.
"N-No. I have to learn for exam next week mom" you answer.
"Ah yeah? Then better hurry up and get to the bus stop!" She said while still smiling. As you leave the kitchen you hear her mutter
"We are gonna see if you will even be able to write that exam 'till then..."
At least in school everything is normal. You are glad about that but your mother's behavior still bothers you.
It paid off to do your homework yesterday because your teacher, although she is young and kind, always gets pretty angry when someone forget his homework.
As usual she goes around to check who did the homework and who did not.
When she arrives at your table and looks at your solutions she is surprised to see many mistakes because it's not common to see that from you.
The reason for that is of course the lack of concentration you had after yesterdays events.
As the lesson goes on you sink deep in your thoughts and can't spend attention.
When the lesson finished and you just wanted to leave she tells you to wait.
As the last one has left she says
"Cedric I noticed that you didn't focused on the lesson today. Since this is not common I asked myself if something is bothering you?"
You remain silent and stare at the desk.
"Do you want to speak about it?"
