2 Inches in the Open Ocean - Page 2 - Let's begin! - By SnaxiTums - Overview
You are Maple Small, a 23 year old woman from the city of New Kleinburgh. After entering some raffle contest, you won an all-expense paid cruise across the ocean. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, you leapt at the opportunity and boarded the Serene Colossus, your home for the next 16 weeks.

After a rocky journey out the choppy Springtime waters of the Ruminan Gulf and through the Gap of Devorian, you'd spent the past week or so eating, sleeping, and generally relaxing. In that time you met a few people and even made a few acquaintances. Overall, things were going great.

That is, until this morning.

Waking up under the covers, you lazily reach up to uncover your face, only to find that you can't find the edge of the blanket. Scooting yourself upwards doesn't seem to help either. Looking around in the dim lighting under the oddly heavy fabric, it seems as though it goes on forever. Half-panicked, you scramble along the creases and folds in the blanket, the path of least resistance, until the floor suddenly seems to give way and everything around you tumbles.

After landing on your side, you continue your scramble, this time more cautious, and eventually escape out onto the carpeted floor, the knots of fabric enormous and tricky to walk on. Looking back, you find that it wasn't the blanket you were trapped in, but a giant, white singlet; YOUR singlet to be exact; Gazing down at your bare, sagging breasts confirms just who it belongs to.

It's then that the true nature of your situation sinks in as you look around the room, the scale at such enormity that large portions of your cabin seemed to blur and fade into a distance haze. Your bed was practically a skyscraper from your perspective, and your bags packed neatly on a chair seemed like an avalanche waiting to happen.

You desperately need to find someone who can help you, or at the very least someone to keep you someplace safe while they get a doctor or a scientist or something. A scientist would probably be a safe bet. Alas, in your stupidity last night you flicked the switch for the Do Not Disturb light... a switch that was now easily twice your body weight and on top of a 6 storey table. To be fair, it's not like you could've predicted such a thing happening.

Spending about an hour examining the room, you find little that could help you. The door to the hallway has a rubber seal on the bottom, preventing you from escaping, although judging by the regular sound of footsteps outside, that's probably for the best. Fortunately, the door to the adjoining room has enough of a gap for you to slip under. If memory serves, it leads to your friend Leona's room.

Alternatively, you found a vent in the floor resting beside a giant floor lamp. The bars are just wide enough for you to be able to slip through. There doesn't seem to be any air flowing through it for now, so you're fairly certain it's safe. You're not sure where it leads, but estimating from where your cabin is, it probably leads to ceiling of the Sternpost Bar and Restaurant, a popular hangout spot on the boat.
