You looked up at her face with a curious expression, waiting to hear whether it worked or not.
“Ho-oo, wow. She told me I’ll definitely know if it works… a fuzziness, & I’m really feeling that all through my gut!”
Hm, it definitely sounded like the staff worked then! It looked a little hard for her to handle though, understandable since she doesn't frequently use magic or anything to that degree. While in the back of your mind, you hoped it wasn't a bother for her, your main focus was now on what was to come next.
“I guess we should get this started then, eh? Uhh…” She pondered while laying the staff down against the wall. “So how should I go about this? You’re the expert in this after all, heheh!” She flashed a grin, the realisation of your expertise in this subject fresh on her mind.
Oh gosh, an expert... well she wasn't wrong! Her comment roused a shiver, almost making you gasp.
Well, the most obvious option was to have her pick you up & lift you up to her face, or perhaps there was another option?
