Huh, would it really? This was a first time hearing about a staff that could do that but then again, staves weren't your area of expertise & assuming she got it from one of the many clerics, it was safe to assume she was telling the truth about the staff she held. It actually interested you if anything!
Hmm, there was another question to ask though, that of if she even knew how to use it? Norne was proficient with bows, albeit boasting a clumsy aim on occasions that you were on the receiving end of not long ago, but you’ve never seen her wield any sort of magic. You had to ask, just to be sure.
“Oh, yeah of course! Lena showed me the most basic technique to using these things so I think I’m good here!”
She spoke with such confidence too. Well, you could only hope she doesn't somehow hurt herself so without much need to think over it, you told her you were fine with this & to be careful when aiming it.
“Ahh no need to worry! I only need to aim it directly at my middle & the effect should work!”
Really now… hmm, well all you could do now was watch & allow her to do whatever she needed with the staff. She didn't waste any time, quickly aiming the rose-coloured bulb directly at her stomach… & after a few seconds, it began to light up quickly!
“O-OH!”
She gasped & immediately, you noticed a strange, pinkish glow emanating from her stomach! Your eyes were practically glued to the strange view - you just couldn't look away!
Soon enough, the glowing faded from both the bulb of the staff & her middle, leaving the room quiet for a while.
Hmm… you could only wonder if it worked…
