You figured you might as well call out to her - she seems like she could use a break anyway. You called out to her, but unfortunately your timing was less than ideal. Just as you began your call, Palla flung herself into a furious lunge. You probably should have stopped your call here, but it was too late. Your call distracted Palla, drawing her attention. Alas, an object in motion tends to remain in motion, and human bodies are no exception. You winced as Palla fell onto the ground with a crash.
“Ouch…”
You ran over, wanting to help her up. It was the least you could do - her fall had been your fault after all. However, by the time you got there it appeared your help wasn’t needed. Palla stood, brushing herself off and looking at you.
“Good morning summoner…” She said, a hint of frustration in her voice. You apologized profusely, really not having intended this with your call. Thankfully, that seemed to somewhat alleviate her irritation.
“So, what did you want?” She asks. You get the feeling you ought to tread very carefully here.
