The Adventures of Lulu - Page 95 - Sorry Duke - By Megaladong - Overview
"Duke I'm sorry but I need to complete my quest to find a Thunder Stone," you look at him with sorry eyes.

He looks a bit shocked and doesn't say anything. He doesn't move for a minute and you're afraid he won't take no for an answer but he takes his paw off your chest. "Sorry Lulu, I just thought... never mind. I don't want to get in the way of your destiny."

You get up and look him in the eyes, "I need to get going Duke but thank you for the offer." You lean over and kiss him on the mouth. He blushes.

"Wait." He says,  "you're going to Thunder Mountain then, right? I know the way and the area too. Where we met, the fork in the trail, you want to go on the northwest path. The other one will eventually lead to Thunder Mountain but it's a long dangerous one. You'd have to travel through plains and mountains and a desert, all filled with dangerous predators. For your sake, don't go that way.

The other way is dangerous as well but much shorter and less so, so long as you know what to look for. When you take that path you will run across a crystal clear still pond. Do not drink from it or disturb the water in any way. It is a dragonair's pond. He sleeps at the bottom and waits for prey to disturb his water. He's an ass too. Given you're in heat, he'll probably tell you if you fuck him he'll let you go but afterwards eat you anyways.

After that it should be pretty safe so long as you don't leave the trail, until you get to the river. The trail leads to a low water river crossing, you should be able to walk across without getting your chest wet. However, a powerful golduck guards it. He will gobble you up in a heartbeat but if you follow some rules you'll be fine. Listen closely.

First, he's a friend of mine. If you tell him 'the new moon rises,' he will know I sent you. He won't eat you if he knows we're friends but that doesn't mean he won't try and fuck you. He's a horndog.

Second, don't say a word to him, other than 'the new moon rises.' If you do he will be able to control your mind and you will be at his perverse mercy. He will try and get you to talk, DON'T.

Lastly, do not look at his face, especially the gem in his forehead. If you do he will be able to control your mind. It's best just to look at his webbed feet. Remember, keep your head down and don't say a word except 'the new moon rises.' Okay?"

"Okay, thank you."

"Oh, and one more thing, the area we met was full of bellsprouts. I'm pretty sure I killed all of them but I might have missed one or two. When they are in big groups they all jump out and wrap your limbs up and pull you apart alive. Then they eat the part they tore from you.

It's a bad way to go but when there's not many of them they have a different hunting technique. They wait alone in berry bushes, then when you enter they will blow Poison Powder in your face. If that happens you're as good as plant food. They are well camouflaged and you won't see them unless you know what to look for.  The secret is to look for their yellow. You'd be surprised how hard it can be to see especially if you don't know what to look for.

That's it. I've never been much farther than the river crossing so you're on your own after that but if you can make it that far I think you'll do fine. Thank you again Lulu, for everything. " he turns and walks away. He looks back and tells you, "I hope to see you again someday, as a raichu," he smiles and walks off, disappearing into the forest.

You sigh. That was an intense last couple hours. You almost got killed three times, raped and almost led a monster to your friends but somehow you came out on top. You're glad all that worked out. You feel good, like a high stakes therapist. A new resolve for your quest to find a Thunder Stone builds in you. It's a good one. You will bring peace to the wild. You will use your power for good, to help and not to hurt. You smile as you walk back to the fork in the path.
