You turn to a page titled "Faldeers". You read the words, seeing that they seemed to be runes glowing with some kind of enchantment. Perhaps that's why you can read the draconic text and see it translated as English. You make a mental note to ask Draco about that. You read the words and take in what you read.

"Faldeers are defensive creatures that act as Draconia's most common form of cattle. A deer-like creature, they only attack if threatened, and only if they feel that they can fight it. No one has yet to figure out how exactly they determine if they can win in a fight against another creature. They have low intelligence regardless, and are easily tamed and domesticated, commonly by Cheetarian farmers. They also leave subtle traces of themselves wherever they go, presenting a word of caution for anyone susceptible to their special ability of transformation who wander where they have roamed, particularly if a source of water is within their path."

You give a slight shudder at the last sentence. You don't know if you are susceptible or not, but it's probably best you don't find out for yourself.
