You see nothing, and you know what it means...
You get pulled into the other end of the vortex, and all that is there are various objects, shards and shrapnel of anything and everything that got pulled into the Banishing Vortex, floating around because of the lack of gravity.
Absolute Nothingness.
Of all places, this is the last place any living intelligent being would want to be.
Why?
Because, you'll never leave. You'll live out the rest of your life here, which won't be long because all essential things required for sustaining life are not found here unless you can find an occasional scrap of food or water also sucked in by a Banishing Vortex.
But finding anything, as well as navigating this infinitely expansive dimension, good luck with that.
But luck favors you not. Time passes by in the most unnatural fashion, and quickly you're succumbing to starvation and dehydration.
Though it was over a year since you'd been imprisoned here, it passed in what felt like seconds, but you eventually starved, and dried up.
Your corpse now floats endlessly through the dark, infinitely expansive black Hell of Absolute Nothingness.
The last thought you had before you died was of how you'd rather had been cooked and eaten by the gnolls you had murdered and sent to the same Hell you're now a part of.
Karma is a BITCH, isn't it!?
