World of Vorecraft - Page 424 - Gurgle gurgle... - By ebedk - Overview
You continue to struggle. You’re vaguely aware of the bird's movements. It has taken flight, gone back to perch outside of its master’s home. It tucks its head under its wing and goes still. You can hear its heartbeat and breathing slow… it’s sleeping you off comfortably.

Meanwhile, the stomach has noticed that it is now filled with food—you. The chamber you’re in slowly fills with digestive juices, lightly burning at first, then putting you in agony. You scream, squirm, struggle, and kick, but your frantic motions ironically help to coat you in the juices, inside and out as you accidentally swallow some. The stomach kneads powerfully against you, built for ‘chewing’ food that has been swallowed whole.

The air thins and soon runs out completely. You suffocate and succumb, truly becoming just a healthy serving of meat in a predator’s stomach. Your last desperate throes cause the bird to stir. It lifts its head and coos a little, thoroughly satisfied with the pleasant, warm feeling of having a belly full of food. Then it nestles down again to continue sleeping.

Your body is processed roughly, the potent acids breaking down your meat and bones. The stomach’s violent motions snap the weakened bones and cause your muscles to slough off. It takes a few hours, but you’re converted into a nutritious soup. Greedily, everything that is of use to your predator is absorbed to power the bird and thus its tauren master’s future hunts.

What isn’t absorbed is shat out the next morning near the tauren’s herb garden, a curiously bluish glob of waste that won’t even be noticed in the grass, but it will help to fertilize his plants.
