Your groan is very weak as you start to come to. Your eyes fail to open reliably, as your entire body feels sluggish. You feel lightheaded, as if you were under the effects of a hangover. Your eyes try to see in the dark, but all they can see is something white at your feet, hanging upwards- wait, upwards!?
Your eyes shoot open swiftly as you try your best to struggle in whatever is holding your body, as you now feel the tight, but soft, sticky threads of spider silk coating your body in a cocoon of web. You are hanging upside down in a spider's nest!
You don't know where the spider is, but you still feel lightheaded. And you can't seem to push against the web as you think you could, even though you would not be able to get free anyway. You should at least be able to do something significant!
The bite… that's right! It was a spider that bit you! Its venom must have put you to sleep, and when you fell it must have caught you and wrapped you in a cocoon!
