She had to investigate something, and she hoped that whatever she suspected was completely wrong.
She opened the door to the closet, finding Clawhauser standing there, about to knock.
"Oh! Judy! Is something wrong? You came in here and I thought you might've tripped or something!" He worriedly said.
"Oh, um... don't worry! I just needed to get something poking at my foot!" She lied, making up an excuse for almost destroying a tray of evidence.
"Well, I'm glad you're okay then! For a second there, I thought something bad happened..." He trailed off.
"Thanks for the concern. Say, can you deliver the evidence now?" She asked, showing the tray and hiding the vial she had taken and opened. "I've got other... paperwork to deal with. I just remembered after you helped me clear my head."
Ben gladly took the tray and nodded. "Of course! Just leave it to me!" He said as he headed off, leaving Judy alone as her stomach let out a growl.
"Mrrph... I knew I shouldn't have skipped breakfast..." She huffed as she held her empty stomach. "But I have more important things to deal with."
Judy pocketed the vial she took and headed off to the jail to visit a certain lamb...
