"Sacrifice? Surely you jest sir," you say, unsure of what will happen next.
"I never jest, milady. Guards," he says as soldiers file in to the room, taking you off to your doom.
In a secret room in the castle, you are bathed and anointed in sacred oils, and dressed in some of the finest jewelry you have ever seen, and a small black mageweave dress that feels as though it is not there. You still cannot fathom why they would go through all this trouble just to cut your heart, or some other diabolical ritual. The soldiers then reappear, and take you the mouth of a cave in the side of a mountain near the castle. There, they chain your arms to two poles, and then leave. There is no sense in struggling, the as the chains are much too thick. All you can do is wait for whatever it is that you were to be sacrificed to come. After several minutes, something emerges from the mouth of the cave.
