You can't take him to Moki after he told you what he is going to do to her. You have to protect her and Duchess. This will cost you your life but it will keep Moki safe, for a while. Even though you are walking to your brutal death, you feel calm. Hopefully the gods will smile on your noble death. You lead him off path slowly at first. You don't want him to notice. Before long you are leading him completely the wrong way. He doesn't suspect a thing.
It takes three hours. The sun is late in the sky. You are walking forward then suddenly, he stops. His teeth are still in your tail. You hear him growl. You feel emotion build in your chest, here it comes. Tears fill your eyes and you close them, bracing yourself. He picks you up slowly, by your tail. You dangle from his jaws. He whips his head and slings you into a nearby tree, hard. Your back slams into the tree. Your eyes open wide and you yelp in pain. You slide down the tree to the base. You are sat up, back against the trunk. He rushes up to you. His face is inches from yours. He is furious.
"You fucking bitch! You've been leading me the wrong way," he snarls in your face. His breath reeks of death and his eyes are glowing a dark red.
You keep your composure, "yes I have, Duke. I would rather die than help you find Moki. I hope you never find her. You are a fucking monster."
You thought Duke looked mad before but now he looks like death himself. He lets out a heart stopping snarl. He opens his jaws wide, strings of drool fall from his maw. You can see deep down his gullet. This is it, your final stop. You still have a couple good shocks in you. It won't stop him but you can give him a taste of his own medicine before you go. Or maybe you should just let him finish you quickly. What do you do?
