...Yes. I'm aware of the irony. The sequel to a story called "Fuuka Nomagishi" doesn't have anyone doing any noms in it. This is not a story with vore in it, what a shock! Believe me, I am fully aware that this is blasphemy. But, I have good reasoning behind my decision, at least in my mind.

You see, when I set out to start writing a sequel to the original story, well I actually kind of wrote out a vague plan of events with a few friends of mine. And, as I began writing, of course, you stick to that plan you set out for yourself, right? Well...nobody dictates just how long each segment you've thought of has to go for.

Admittedly, the scope of this project far exceeded the original plans for it. Everything before the time jump was envisioned as the prologue to the main story for this part, but by the time I did get to that, it had gone on for so much longer that I don't know if "prologue" is really the correct word for it.

This story was supposed to have two victims in it, I had the tags ready to go for the upload - for reference, I've had this page open for about three days now, just....waiting to input the file, but, yeah. I haven't started writing the third part yet, but I can confidently say that bits of it were supposed to be towards the end of part two.

I'd occasionally do checks on the word count, and when I saw on the 28th that it was nearly rivaling the length of the original, I considering splitting this story itself into two parts, honestly. I didn't want this to be too long. But in the end, it's done when I feel like the story is complete. As I'm writing this, it's currently 12:26 in the morning on December 1st, I just got done writing at the beginning of the hour.

So in the end, if you care about stats, this story is 7,133 words long, the file size is 39.8 KB. The original story is 4,881 words, with a file size of 27.2 KB. I know that just because it's bigger, that doesn't automatically make it better, but if I'm being honest, I'm really happy with this. Genuinely, I am.

If you're really, really hung up over this not being a vore story, I'm sorry. To me, this is not a vore story, but a story heavily impacted by vore. My plan initially was to create a sequel that was more character focused, and in part explored the idea of how the loss of a friend would affect members of a group, and their relationship over time. I put a lot of energy into thinking things out, and just...exploring the themes I wanted to explore. And while, yes, pleasing readers is definitely important, I think one of the things that's critical to me is this; Do I, the writer, enjoy what I am creating? Am I having fun writing this? And...yeah, I did.

If you enjoyed this, thank you so much. Honestly, any and all support I get on these goofy stories really goes a long way for me. Um, I cannot at all promise that part three will be anywhere near the length of this, again, I haven't even started writing it yet. But I hope I'm able to deliver a satisfying conclusion. A lot of this story was serving to set the ground work for part three, after all.

Also just wanted to say that this is genuinely written pretty well! Whenever I try my hands at writing something I get what I like to call... the "and this happened and then that happened syndrome ." And then when I do improve my story I just lose any drive I had in the first place and give up. So I have massive respect for this kind of writing. Hats off to you!

Thank you so much, really. I really did try my best with this to put narrative and characters at the forefront, and give them their chance to shine. It felt like a nice change of pace, in all honesty. The one thing I had been saying throughout the time I was writing this was that this is a blend of "serious writing" and "pleasure writing" for me, that I'd be able to indulge in both.
