The best source or comparison I've found until now was, if you're familiar them, a content creator online that produced a few books about the far, far future of humanity. The name's Exurb1a, lots of things to be said about his videos, which range from politics to quantum physics, with a good bridge to meta biology and consciousness. It's wild
One of his books, "The Prince of milk", has things pretty similar to this happen, with a similarly abstract style.
Good read, I really like the experimental and ridiculous style :)

Although I love my matter-of-fact, nearly-clinical style of narration, I do have the need to get experimental from time to time.
