Searching for Food not an Apology By Whatisaname -- Report

All is well.

Or is it?

With child disappearances rising, things begin to get tense between the Awoken residents and their average counterparts. To ease concerns directed at her, Prudence takes up a gig babysitting for a couple on the first floor. Hope no one jumps to any conclusions.

Meanwhile, Iz finds herself feeling, empty inside. A kind of aching emptiness she hasn't felt since the bar incident. When she figures out why, it becomes almost impossible to resist.

Oh yeah, this is a long one. A fairly light on vore one as well. But the title doesn't just pose a question for the characters, but the audience as well. I'm not sure how I want this next Iz encounter to go. Should Iz learn to forgive and forget? Or should she indulge in her more predatory capabilities?

As much as I would love to see Veronica suffer absolute hell and die, it ultimately wont bring Triss back at the end of the day. Also, it would be an absolute waste of the lives lost if she were to die now. Finally, shes as much a victim as her prey was seeing as it was all Benjamin's idea. If anything, I wanna see that scumbag Ben burn ten fold. I would say she should forgive her but never forget what shes done. But on that note, she should at least confront and demand answers from Veronica. Maybe even rough her up a bit, slug her in the face or something just to get some payback for the dead homies.

That's a very interesting take. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

How about Prudence's chance encounter with the thing lurks in the ceiling?

It hits fast and hits at night, also probs only takes kids cause theyre the only ones whole fit in the ceiling. Also, its unnerving given that Prudence was the strongest person in the building, until she was overpowered by the lurker, thats a big uh-oh. At the very least, this clears her of any missing children accusations, so thats good. Im surprised Iz was able to figure out when it would strike again, so maybe she can help them find this menace. I hope this situation turns into an Alien thing where the missing kids are just strung up on the wall in a broom closet.

Forgive and forget? Tell me that's a joke, it's certainly never an option.

Iz is free to find a reason not to kill Veronica, but should never stop holding her accountable for her actions.

Of course, a long conversation would definitely help...

You never know, they might even find themselves in the same corner of the ring soon enough.

Yes, that could easily happen.

I'm picturing the aliens from Attack The Block.
With pink, hairless hands and feet. And lips. And non-glowing teeth.
Alright I'm not exactly picturing the aliens from Attack The Block, but it's close.

I don't think Veronica deserves to die. She should not be a free woman, either, she HAS killed three people, two of whom were children. Ben, however, since he ACTUALLY FED TRISS to her, deserves to be Tiny'd. Stella's probably feeling lonely by now.

Also, what the HELL are those politicians smoking with these laws!?

It's good to see Iz actually showing remorse for killing Charlie. Only took a year. But if Iz is getting hate floods, she really needs to figure out some sort of coping mechanism before the hunger becomes too much to resist, and Veronica may not be the one who goes up the chute when it happens.

I think we found our man- er, monster eating the kids. But that thing really overpowered Prudence, which, given her track record, isn't that much of a surprise. Poor Amelia. Only a matter of time until it starts going after the adults.

Also, good subversion on Prudence taking that photo. I was expecting one or both of the girls to go missing, with that photo used as evidence against her. I know what's up with that delivery girl. Mr. Hunter might need to shell out some hush money to keep Prudence quiet, even if she has no reason to care.

Yeah, I jumped to conclusions when writing this. It was intended more that with these precedents, then these defenses were more legitimate. Except the consuming flesh in times of emergency and the agressor is left with no alternative.

Also, that happened in March, she showed remorse here in September. So that's more like six months.

Oh, I don't know why I thought it was a year. I was thinking for a while that Iz forgot her name, or thought of the incident as a "oh well" moment. Also *just* occurred to me that Iz cheated on Han that night. So either Han's cool about Iz seeing someone else on the side, especially with their relationship being primarily long-distance for the foreseeable future, Han is open to sharing Iz, or Han's more concerned with "that could've been me" than the infidelity. Or Iz could've just left the murder bit out of the story entirely.

Curse Eka's lack of an edit button! >_<

Actually, it's more like Han never found out.
