Judging by the shadow in the corner, are you getting these onto a computer by taking a picture? If so, are you using a smartphone camera?
You can play with the resolution in the settings as well as tap on the screen to adjust the focus. If you hold the phone parallel to the picture, a single tap anywhere should let it autofocus for the right distance.
