anthro feline wandered the woods, sunlight dappling across her black
fur as it filtered through the trees. It was impossible to tell just
what she was, as though a little of every breed of feline had come
together in her. Even more oddly, she was more than simply feline.

Jack was perfectly
ordinary... Mostly. He was eighteen years old, went to school almost
every day, had a 3.0 GPA, played sports sometimes but he wasn't
really any good, slept too little, played video games too much. His
hair was brown, his eyes were brown, his skin was tan, and he wasn't
