I say the following not as any form of judgment to anyone who may read this, it is more for my own benefit. It is also an explanation to any who may be curious about why I have removed my work from my gallery.

Being a person of the Christian faith I used to make excuses for posting my writings here on Eka's. I called it 'wholesome' given I took inspiration for my work from the section of the bible containing the Song of Solomon (or Song of Songs).

Over the last year, I have found myself questioning this and have come to a personal conclusion. That I am not glorifying the God I follow, and I may be putting a stepping stone in the path of others and making it difficult for them to stay on the narrow path.

Even if the characters are fictional, vore is often a sexual act. I can say with certainty that I don't believe sex is something to be ashamed of so that's not the issue here. What is, is the fact that I believe it is sacred. I think that I'm guilty of supporting/aiding/abetting others in their sin of lust and possibly even adultery.

I don't want to do that anymore, so I have removed my stories. I am a sinner, I accept that. I always will be. I don't say that in a way that is putting myself down or condemning myself. It's just part of being human. I'm no better than anyone here on Eka's. However as long as we acknowledge Jesus Christ and his sacrifice within our hearts, our sin is forgiven, hidden, and cleansed by his blood. I don't want my work to end up harming others by enabling others to sin. Especially fellow Christians that may dwell here on this site.

Sex/sensuality is a gift, but we glorify ourselves and commit idolatry by focusing on things in a way that does not give credit to God or respecting God's laws regarding sex. Vore is still something special to me but seeing as it is linked with sex in my eyes it means I should strive to express my interests in a healthy manner: towards whoever I end up in a committed relationship with.

I understand I am human, and I won't perfectly achieve this. I should at least work to do so. Stay safe out there and God bless.
