Re: Aversion to Male Preds
There are 329 pages of m/f and 332 pages of m/m stuff when i searched it in the tag search. However this includes images, writing and media if you only like one type of medium then the ratios might be different.[/quote]
Ah, so I'm not far off with my thought, then! It's a really tight race between m/f and m/m lol

I'm attracted to women, not men. That's all there is to it.

I'm certainly inclined to agree, but only in regards to people who actually post a shitty message saying how they dislike a certain kind of preference. For those who aren't into male predators but don't post a comment stating it, I'd just chalk it up to just a difference in interests, which is totally fine, no harm in people having differences in preferences, even in regards to general romance!
Still though, I'm still just kind of...baffled as to why a person really needs to channel their inner six-year-old across any kind of content when it comes to things they don't like. You have people out there actually saving lives and other commendable actions, and here some people are, gatekeeping a kink like it's some kind of sacred religion -- like wow, really making a difference in the world with their very insightful and enlightening "[x] content is disgusting!!!!!!!!" commments. I'm honestly less upset these days by the words people use, and just more annoyed by someone wasting their own time posting that kind of thing, instead of taking that same time to NOT post that comment and find something they do like.
...but I guess even with a blacklisting feature at their disposal, that's just a really hard thing to do, huh?
Please don't quote my name in that, Houyo made that statement and I find the assertion that not liking males in your porn is homophobic to be frankly idiotic in the extreme

Whoops. I guess I meant to reply to your comment initially, changed my mind, and then proceeded to edit the wrong name out. Fixed it now though, sorry about that.
In hindsight though, yeah, I'm more inclined to agree now that even amongst more verbal announcements of what a person dislikes on someone's artwork/writing, I wouldn't say it's a homophobia thing a majority of the time. Still a gross, useless comment to leave on someone's work either way though.

Hell yes, EXACTLY! King Kong perfect example. I love slimy male preds to, alien coach roach from "Men in Black" comes to mind. The more gross the pred, the better.. Its super weird, idk why I feel this way but I just like it!

I just recently found out i'm into this stuff to, I think it's a fascination with attacking/"roughing up", or just getting a pretty girl all dirty. (In a consensual & playful way of course..)
But yeah, I like Male preds to look as far from human as possible. I'm not sure why, it just works...
Laura Croft + MiB bug monster, is one of my personal favourite pairs...
(All my life i've been a hard "F/M ONLY" fan. Idk why, i'm just now discovering that i'm into this and its all super strange )

You have every right to be proud. I always say, its sooooo bizarre to me how anyone in THIS community feels like they have room to talk down to or outcast a person because of what they pref, like... we aren't all a bunch of weirdos already. I was just voicing my opinion on this particular topic, you and your "anime boys" have nothing but respect from me. Especially Xyfir, never in a million years would I have imaged i'd be interested in a "filthy weeb" half dragon with a maid addiction, but here we are...

People like what they like, and people don't like what they don't like.
It's really that simple.
It really really is.

Re: Aversion to Male Preds
For me as an F/F fan, I want to imagine being made into fat on a pretty girl, making her even more attractive and voluptuous
I avoid male preds because I feel that those traits are the exact opposite of what I like seeing increasing on the predator. instead of growing more feminine, a man will grow more hary, beefy, and etc. he might grow round, but roundness doesn't lend itself well to maleness. Its true that I am not attracted to men, but I enjoy being dominated by men, so for vore, the aspect missing is that there isn't something cute underneath that I can make cuter. This is probably why I can handle many types of male predators who are animals, Snakes, frogs, lizards, etc. If these creatures are referred to as male it doesn't really bother me.
Did I crawl through a portal to resetera?

Honestly, it's probably lowkey homophobia. Any guy in much of modern (american) society has to deal with homophobia to a degree. Even straight guys get called gay all the time over dumb shit. For some people that homophobia manifests in being sickened by the sight of guys sexualized in any way, even if they are fucking/eating girls.

Wait, what?
"You don't like guys sexually? What a homophobe!"
People like the gender they like in the position they like.
That's not the homophobia part. It's the overall noise people make about male predators vs female predators. The normal reaction to seeing porn you don't like is to ignore it and move on. Seeking out a comment section to make your distaste known is abnormal and male homophobia is the most likely reason.

This and we are on the internet where introverts are plentiful. Most introverts want to play the prey role whether they roleplay or not since it is the more passive role so they will fantasize about a predator partner. Most of the population on the internet are going to be straight introverted males who fantasize about females predators.
I don't have a total aversion to male predators, just m/m content with very limited exceptions. If it would make a cute female happy, I'd play the prey role and enjoy m/f content where they both enjoy it. Still, I don't go out of my way for the good m/f content since it doesn't compare to female predators.

This, exactly. The people who do this either feel they are entitled for every artist to only make what they like, in which case they should go fuck themselves, or they think that their opinion is the same as a universal fact and everyone else must adhere to it the same way they do to laws like gravity or thermodynamics, and those ones should dash their own brains out with a brick of soft tofu. There's nothing wrong with people liking what they like, but people trying to disallow other people to like what they like is unacceptable behavior, and there's an irritating amount of it, not just here but in general.

So? I don't see the problem here. We are in the Internet, anonym and on a porn site. Even If people call you gay here it dosen't matter just Report him If he annoy you. Some pepole think I'm lesbian because I do F/F stuff. But am I a lesbian? No.
Lol I'm just explaining a reason why, I wasnt calling anybody out. Relax.

Jesus christ folks, you all seemed to have had a knee jerk reaction to the word 'homophobia' instead of actually reading what I said.
I didn't say that not liking dudes in vore is homophobic!
XD
I said the affects of homophobia on our society has made people more likely to cringe at males in a sexual context.
These are two completely different statements and you guys are all getting upset over nothing. I'm not calling anybody homophobic!

The irony here is that in that image the water is actually pretty deep but the dude is refusing to accept it even though it's obvious. XD

Honestly I really don't like M/M but that's what the blacklist is for! If you don't like, blacklist and don't look! Its not homophobia to not like something, but it is homophobia to harrass people about their content. Nobody is forcing you to look at m/m.
I'm bisexual female and tend to put myself in the predator role. (as I said on the other gender preds post) I prefer f/m and f/f and occasionally soft, nonfatal m/f. m/m does nothing for me, so I just kinda ignore it.

Definitely agreed! In the fetish world, you can't get much lower than this as far as most folks are concerned. So it seems silly and petty at best to be judgemental on prefs within a fetish circle like this.
And thanks! Hahaha. I'm really surprised how well he's been received, considering he was just born of me wanting to make a dragon demi boy, and then thought it would be funny if there was one whose 'dragon hoard' consisted of otaku obsession items instead of gold or jewels. But I'm glad you enjoyed him!

Re: Aversion to Male Preds
For me (and I would assume most people here) it all comes down to sexual attraction. I am a heterosexual male so I prefer female preds, and seeing a male pred would be the equivalent of seeing gay porn. I understand why people who only like female preds would get upset when seeing a male pred, especially if when the work is not marked as containing male preds, but it is best to just look elsewhere and not dwell on it.
I am going to somewhat play devil’s advocate here, but I can also understand why someone would be upset seeing art of a male pred from an artist who does not typically draw them. It would be like always buying your favorite brand of ice cream, but then one day going to the store and realizing they had replaced your favorite brand with a brand you hated, you would obviously be bitter. Having said that, artists are of course under no obligation to draw any specific kind of thing and getting angry about it does not solve anything.
I understand more than anyone how upsetting it can be to see art of a male pred that you would have otherwise found attractive if the pred was female, you think: “Damn, if only the pred was female this artwork would be such a turn on, why did the artist have to draw it like this!?”
But getting mad at an artist for what they decide to draw is never justified, it is important to remember that artists have the freedom to draw whatever they want and that not everything will be something you enjoy, so when it comes to things like this it is better to just focus on what you like and ignore what you dislike.

I feel like this is a bad metaphor, you know exactly what you are getting when you purchase ice cream. It's advertised what it is before you buy it and it's assumed to always be the same. Free art that is posted casually is different every time regardless of similar themes in the artists work.
A better example would be a brand you like releases a new flavor you don't like. You don't have to try it, you already know you don't like it, but some people are still gonna eat it and then complain anyways. Or just complain that they have to look at it when shopping in the store.
