Happy New Year, my dear friends.
And here it is. Version 0.1.6
Sorry for taking so long.
We were totally reworking game. Moving it from Unity to Renpy. More info in "Updates".


In a hut in a forest, outside of a small city, a young woman stands in her bedroom. It's all she's ever known, and she's desperate to change that - blissfully unaware of the death lurking around every corner.

Play the story of Maple and Nora, a wide-eyed girl longing for adventure and her guardian who's seen too much of it.
Meet a wide cast of characters, eat and be eaten by them, and uncover the secrets lurking under the surface.

Total rework. The game is working on RenPy now.
Added save system.
Added the begining of Chapter 2.
New characters Mary and Orelia.
For getting Mary's scene you need to refuse going to Castle with other kids, playing as Maple.
As for Orelia, you can meet her in chapter 2, after Castle.

This looks like a game with a very deep setting and an interesting plot. I regret I have no services to offer, but I am very curious about how this is going to turn out!

Sure! Scat will be optional. But its not going to be a trigger in the beginning. I'm thinking about special design for that

You hooked my intrigue with platformer. I'll keep a close eye on this one. Forgive my wariness, but I'd like to see what that future demo offers before planting my feet here. I wish you all the luck.

Underage preys - definitely.
Underage preds - I didn't think about that yet.

There will be both. One protaginist would be mostly prey, willing/unwilling - depending on player choices. And another protagonist is a real pred but still eatable.

A benefit to having multiple different predators in the games one finds in Eka's Portal is that a developer has more creative freedom with different personalities and different scenarios. There are some games that have hundreds of scenarios where the player is beaten, humiliated, eaten, and vanquished (digested). And in cases where the player can eat people, they are never the apex predator.

A game I dream of finding on this site is one where the player lives in a fully realized world (medieval, space age, high school, doesn't matter) and is definitively the apex predator. The character you play as is your own creation (I'd go for a small, plump, caramel skinned, and pink haired twenty year old girl named Desiree), and people who are large, small, or larger are all susceptible to being gobbled up, and the world around the character reacts to whoever and how many people she gobbles up.

This game seems like the middle road between these ideas. Of course, the main protagonist is not going to be the apex predator, but the character will be our own (or at least what we decide to do with Maple) and the world will reflect on that. Also, I hear platforming and think "Indivisible", and I liked that game so I'm interested.
