Hello all! I was just wondering if anyone on here is from Ohio. I'd love to get to know more people that are into this community

I'm a tad curious to see how many are from the ol mothership as well.

I've always suspected not many. Ohio just feels like a place for very "normal" people. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

I'm in Ohio. Columbus actually and I have yet to actually meet another person that even knows about the community though...

So what conventions does everyone go to?

I'm a board game geek myself and go to Origins in Columbus on a regular basis with my girlfriend and recent wife.

I moved to Iowa to work for John Deere a while back. I don't think Midwesterners are actually that much more normal than everybody else, I think they just get super pissed (as in, bullets may be exchanged) when other people reveal that they aren't normal. As such, you probably would have more luck with Craigslist and small meetings in smoke-filled rooms away from public view or something else a bit more hush-hush.
