I've noticed a few patterns when it comes to posts here in Conventions Connections, that might turn people away from your threads. Here's some guidelines that should help your thread get the attention it deserves.
1. State what kind of meeting it is
Is it a convention? A member-hosted meetup? Is there a particular theme? Is it solely vore-oriented or part of a meeting for other fetishes, such as macro or furries? Let people know what they're getting into.
2. State where and when it's going to happen
This is super important - people have busy schedules and need locations, dates and times to know if they can fit a meeting or convention into them. Failing to include these tends to turn people away. Don't just assume people know.
3. State what needs to be brought, and what events are going to be planned
Is it come-as-you-are? A black-tie dinner? A camping trip out in the woods? A tabletop RPG meetup? Let people know what they should expect and look forward to, and what they should bring, if anything.
4. Don't use acronyms
A lot of conventions use acronym names, and sometimes two entirely different conventions can have the same acronym. don't assume everyone knows which convention you're talking about. Take the extra time to spell it out.
5. Be enticing
If you're hosting a con booth or a meetup for vorarephiles, make it interesting. Even a meeting of people of similar interests can get boring as hell if there's nothing to do while there. Give people an idea of what sort of things you have on hand to keep things entertaining.

A lot of these things sound like common sense things tbh.

You'd think, but if you read through this section, a lot of people don't do them.

Really late but...you would be surprised how uncommon common sense is XP
