Does anyone ever do Dragoncon? Probably the best con I've ever been to.

I've never heard of it, but you've piqued my interest.

I've been going regularly for the last few years.

Been wanting to go for a few years now just to see Voltaire live.

I go pretty often, but I prefer smaller conventions.

Isn't it just East Coast Comic-Con?

Way more than just a comic focus, trust me. Yeah i'm going this year. Preregistered so i saved on the cost of admission. Easy for me to get there cause i live outside of atlanta, in roswell.

Comic-con is, by definition, comic book oriented. Dragon con kind of goes in a more sci-fi route with definite room for comic books and other fan bases as well.

Dragoncon.org will help you out. It's a huge scifi, fantasy, gaming, horror, and mixed genre convention that takes place in Atlanta, GA each year on labor day weekend. It's the best con I've ever been to and they had aroun 70,000 people go last year. I've been every year for as long as I can remember.
