IT'S A TRAP.

Don't go to the Vore Meetup. The host will eat ALL of you. o_o

... Apparently that isn't going to stop some of you? >.>

Lol, I'm just kidding. Frankly I'm not sure what you guys would do anyhow. ^^; I've considered attempting a "Nomicon" sort of convention thing for vore lovers, sort of like how the furries have their thing, but I wondered who the hell would show up and what they'd even do. O.o

Well I'm a girl! Haha... but seriously. No. I would never go to one of these even if it is right around where I live... Does anyone realize how awkward that would be? Not to mention just weird. No thank you.

Aww, I'd love this, even just for the social aspect, I mean, how's it any different really from furry meetups? I think it's a cool idea if done carefully.

Well, do you know what I think? That this certainly isn't a good idea.

Why? Well, as far as I know, most vorarephiles (including myself) wouldn't like if everyone around them knew about their fetish. Recently, prejudice has been decreasing when refering to races, sexual options and religions, but most people out there do not comprehend fetishes, as they associate them with "bad" ones like masochism or pedophilia or "strange" ones like podophilia, urinophilia, guro, and vore itself.

So, unless you want to show off you're different and there are others like you, I don't see how would this be of any good.

Hmmm well alot of people i know, know i love vore and accept me for it. You would be surprised how many people are really accepting. Although there are quite a few out there who are not.

Well, it all depends upon how comfortable the individual feels really. It wouldn't have to be a particularly public event either, and if someone's not comfortable with meeting up with other vore fans and sharing their interests, then fine, no one's forcing them to go to the event, but that doesn't make it a bad idea for those who DO wish to meet up.

There are all kinds of specialist furry meetups that seem weird and different, I'm sure, and they do fine. This would just be a possible extension of that.
And to be honest, personally I ENJOY being different, I have fun with it, and my friends accept me for who I am. That isn't to say I'm always talking about vore or furry stuff to those who aren't interested in it, of course.

If there was some structure to it, I might consider going to one out of sheer curiousity, but I wouldn't find the idea completely weird at all...

I don't expect many of you lot to know this, but the UK members of Youtube have gatherings/meet-ups on a semi-regular basis, and I've been going to some of them since 2007/2008. Why is this relevant? Because when the very first one was hosted back in 2006, everyone assumed it would be awkward because it would be a bunch of vloggers stood around and presumably not having anything in common aside from posting videos on the internet, similar to how the majority of you guys (from what I've read anyway) feel awkward about the idea of vorephiles meeting up just because of a shared interest.

I think, if handled correctly and if a decent agenda was organised, it might just work...

Well, I'm UK based and I'd be delighted to go along to a vore meeting. People with unusual hobbies often have meetings without disasterous consequences. Consider the World Champion Stinging Nettle Eating Competition held annually at The Bottle Inn in Marshwood, Dorset, UK. Why not have a goldfish swallowing competition for example? A number of years ago they had the All Ireland frog swallowing competition in Ballycumber, County Offaly, and that attracted large crowds. We, in the UK, need to become more adventurous!

Could you kindly tell me where I can get details of these gatherings?

I think it is where everybody meets up, talks about Vore a bit, does a bit of art and then they all start having sex with each other.

Eat each other.

But it does depend heavily on what type of meet it'd be. Is it just a meet of people who all happen to like vore but just do and talk about complete non-vore related things or is this going to be ~weirder~?
I am also in the UK, for the record.

Hey I know I'm late into discovering your post, but I'm also a UK based predator. If there are any parties/gatherings of fellow vore fetishists happening here at any time I'd love to join and be able to make friends

I'm morbidly curious, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to a meet. Going brony meets was hard enough, and that was mostly cos I'd just moved to a new city and no one there knew me and no one back home knew I was going brony meets until I felt comfortable telling them. Life as it is now, I'm not sure I could give a good enough excuse to cover for going to something like this.

The only way would be if we basically choose an already existing group that we have crossover with, like a fur or brony meet, and basically rock up at that. But even then, we wouldn't know who was there for the main thing and who was there for vore, and it's a bit rude to hijack another group's event anyway.
