Weird, worked fine when I tested it in turn-based combat. I know the healing can be off-sync when it's in turn-based mode: RTwP seems to bunch it up at all once, whereas turn-based makes it so the healing only ticks once it's the affected player's turn, but I imagine you would have caught that...
Were either of the companions knocked out when they were swallowed? Might be something I've put in messing with that if that was the case.
