It's finally done, just in time for Halloween. It doesn't have THAT much to do with Halloween, but takes place on Halloween nonetheless.

Sam and Dan's Halloween is a small Gameboy RPG composed of 4 parts, alternating between Sam and Dan's perspectives. The people they talk to and requests the fulfill will determine how the night turns out.

Made with GB Studio, the game is playable on any device that can emulate Gameboy games, as well as a real Gameboy with a flash cart.

Do you have a recommendation on what to use to run the game?

literally just hacked my wii earlier, gonna download a gameboy emulator and try to run this on my wii wish me luck

I encountered a pretty major bug. After logging off of the computer, everything I interact with activates the Understory dialogue.

Got the neutral ending. Much as I liked it, I'd rather not go through all that again just to get the best ending. Dunno what I could've missed other than the scene with the handcuffs.
Maybe the invitation to the park and the yes-no option to go overrides the handcuff-triggered scene? If so, that might be something worth fixing.

Oops, got the bad ending, i'll have to play it again later! Nice little short game though, it was pretty cute!

Been super excited to see this game come out for some time now, and now that it's here, it's even better than I thought it would be! I absolutely loved the exploration and dialogue, and the in-game artwork (there's a lot!) is some of the best you've done! The fact that this is built entirely in a Game Boy Classic-compatible engine, and is totally playable on a handheld or console, just blows me away, there's so love and detail in it <3

You really knocked this one out of the park, pal! So glad you stuck with this project and saw it to its amazing completion

I got the best ending! That was super cute!!! Also, the deep woods was such a neat idea for a gameboy game!
