Skyrim Devourment Female And Male Enabled 1.2.7

Game crashes as soon as I try to eat someone.
I see the power start, I hear the "gulp sound" and then poof.
I have no idea how to properly debug why, any advice?

Edit: using Skyrim Special Edition and yes I have done the conversions.

Okay, so I was able to narrow it down to my custom race causing the problem- NPCs can eat people no problem. Do you have any tips to get it to work with my animesque race?

I was wondering if you'd thought about adding compatibility for needs mods?
Previous iterations of Devourment had support for Realistic Needs And Diseases, and I was really hoping that would carry over to this version.

any way to just get the CBBE face textures without the body meshes? i'm having a confusing and frustrating time with the bodyslide stuff and i kind of just want to fall back on the vanilla body without losing the the CBBE custom face pack. im assuming that the weight gain feature isn't compatible with the CBBE bodies without messing around with the outfit studio. any answer would be appreciated!

So, I'm getting a bunch of errors in my papyrus logs from this mod. And also a freeze and crash whenever I enter the Skyrim world, but I'm not sure that's related to this mod yet.
It's basically 50+ instances of these:

So just curious, is there a particular order the mods should be in to allow the devourment mod to work right?
So went I use the LOOT to organize my mods I have the devourment mod up but I can't swallow anyone and or the belly won't show up. Is there a placement order for them to be in to work right?

It should be in your spell menu, in the Powers section. Select it and press Z (the shout button) on an NPC to use it.
If there's no Swallow spell there, make a new save and reload it, and it should pop up.

Is it possible to make this mod purely pc prey centric in the settings? No pc pred at all and no NPC vs NPC?

There is a setting in the MCM for that. It's the top on the right. It asks if you would like the NPC to be able to use it. Set it to disabled.

I put it all the way at the bottom. The only thing I have after it is my skeleton and the overwrite. Works fine for me.

You know, I might look into getting devourment and skyrim now.
I did before but once I heard about the mod maker making the mod only allow female preds because they hate male preds or some bullshit like that I was turned right the fuck off.

The upcoming version has animal preds and belly models for them.

With nakedmorphvore.esp are there any other steps you need to take to have a bodyslide belly when nude? I can't seem to get it to work for me, no stretching of the body happens at all after vore with it enabled.

I cannot for the life of me get HDT to work with the Bodyslide belly. If I use BodySlide to build from the devourment bodies (1AllSliderWithBelly, naked morph loaded) I get the belly and no HDT, but if I build from (CBBE Body HDT) then I get HDT working but no belly. Is there a specific load order I should be setting up or is something else wrong?
