This is just vanilla Skyrim. Levelled actors are drawn from big levelled lists of different potential NPCs, so if they get 're-rolled' (being unloaded can cause this under some circumstances), they'll be a totally different race/gender etc.

It's why Levelled NPCs don't get skulls by default - you would reform them only to find someone else entirely. The issue is most noticeable with bandits and the like.

Thanks for catching the second one, the calculation was being done wrong.
As for the third, I'm not sure there's any way around that. NPCs from levelled lists can change appearance if you leave the area for a minute, if you enter and exit a building, etc.

I assumed that was the case, but it is nice to know that it is not caused by mods. Thanks for the clarification!

Just a QOL thing: Realistic Needs and Diseases seems to work with Devourment Refactor, but there's no message indicator that it's doing anything -- you have to watch the widget, and that doesn't immediately update. I might try and whip up a small patch this evening, just to make it clear that Devourment does account for RND.

That's because Devourment updates RND's hunger levels every few seconds while you're digesting. No one wants notifications that often.

Well, no, but it doesn't have to be a constant thing, or necessarily tied into the hunger levels -- just an OnPreyDeath message of some kind, like 'you're getting full' or something, so that there's a way to be sure that the RND integration is functional and hasn't bugged out. At first, I thought it was broken, because I'm so used to RND's notifications.

Having a very weird CTD issue. Crashes either before it hits the main menu, or as soon as I hit new game.
I also don't know why the log says that I'm using v14 of NetScriptFramework - I'm using v17 and I did a full uninstall (deleted the dll plugin and the NetScriptFramework directory folder, according to the mod page's instructions) of v14 before upgrading.

I've had an issue slowly arise over the last few days where waiting/sleeping would sometimes just break. It will pretty much always works as it should until you add prey (dead or alive but seems mostly with alive) into the equation in which case there's a decent chance that if you wait or cancel the wait menu, the next time you try to bring it up it'll just say that you can't wait/sleep right now. This can persist across loading screens to different areas and can sometimes completely shut down the ability to sleep no matter how you are from where any action happened.

Wasn't too much of an issue until I decided to tweak my devourment settings so everything happened a little slower since the thing that would resolve the issue was more often than not having nothing inside you. Though it can still persist sometimes.

The newest version has suddenly brought in some slowing down of the game. Now, everything still works very well, don’t get me wrong, this mod is lit, but I have a fairly mid to high range rig and past versions of Devourment didnt bring any performance issues that are now present here

I've got a weird problem. I'm testing Blood of the Hunter's next update, and...everyone appears to be undead. From random console-spawned NPCs to Mikael and company at the Bannered Mare, I can't eat anything, because they're all 'rotten undead flesh'.

I might reinstall Devourment to see if that clears things up.

That happened to me with just devourment installed, but I used the console to give myself the perk that fixes it and moved on.

That means you need to either install LibFire, or update it to the newest version.

It's not new. This particular aspect of Devourment hasn't changed in over a year.

As far as I know, perfectly blocking the vanilla sleep system (without breaking everything) isn't possible, which is why you can get around it. But everything in Skyrim is like that. You can gain unlimited experience during the initial escape from Helgen. You can use telekinesis to level up the alteration skill by fast travelling while levitating an object. You can pickpocket the gold you pay to trainers. And the console is available to cheat at anytime. You either make the choice to avoid exploits, or you don't.

1) What makes you think Devourment is the cause?

2) I can't diagnose Devourment-related slowdown without a quicksave made while the slowdown is happening. Ideally four or five of them for comparison.

3) It really doesn't matter how good your gaming PC is, because Skyrim's in-game performance is almost always dependent on single-threaded CPU performance. And the mightiest beast of gaming PC is only marginally faster than a potato when it comes to single-threaded CPU performance. This is especially true with Devourment installed, since Devourment leans on Papyrus REALLY hard.

I think Devourment is the cause because the game runs smooth consistently until I do anything Devourment related IE using the Vore power. Then once the prey is dead and digestion finished and all the bars gone, slow down is over and back to smoothness.

I can make some quick saves and I’ll find a way to send them to you.

Gaz is passing my saves onto you, Mark. Weird thing, somehow using the Vore power on a piece of food and going through that whole digest thing is even slower than doing it on an actor? Seems counterintuitive but I wouldn’t know either way myself.
