scenarios where vore isn't normal?

A lot of content seems to take place in a world where vore just...exists, and that throws me off I guess. Everything I see is "yay a normal relationship" in willing scenarios, or "oh no I'm the target of a crime/whatever" in unwilling scenarios...is anyone else like that? Show me a scenario where vore isn't real, it just is not a thing that happens, and the prey is just flipping out
