There were over 100 videos on that list :x Someone who doesn't like those scenes of reality being documented and shared freely killed it. They also killed the Caballos Destripados playlist, but that could be construed as scenes of animal cruelty, so let's sweep that under the rug too.

so... having videos of kills and animals being eaten uploaded to the site is fine, but hoarding and collecting them is wrong?

That seems dumb...but it's youtube...so i guess that's par for the course.

How about we try to make up for it with a rather fantastic video though ? Deal ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJHllaPKwqg

Great video. Couple of things, the description says "lionesses" but it is actually two male lions. Also, the ever popular "OMG, they are eating the nuts, better turn the camera away" reaction is there. A classic. The lions have the wildebeest twisted like a pretzel.....that had to be rather uncomfortable!

Local bookmarks are your friend! :D (If you have them, maybe compile them into a text file and put it on a pastebin or something?)

On a happier (?) note... this thread has been running for 10 years! :O

In the right place and at the right time, for both the videographer and the lions.
And right away, in the "up next" choice YouTube picked out for me (they get things right once in awhile): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Omyfwsx0BdU
A lone lioness makes a textbook-clean kill of a zebra mare, but as soon as she sits down to gnaw at the zebra's rear end a modest-sized pack of hyenas start working in from the front.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1GR1_e6Vqs Between videos the hyenas have started to tear at the belly and eventually pull out the intestines. The lioness eats fast knowing she's going to lose most of her kill.

This is a good one here....3 full grown lionesses dig out a big fat juicy warthog boar. What happens next is shown in pretty clear detail. One lioness on choke hold duty while the other two begin to feast. Mr. Warthog has his scrotum torn open and one plump testicle survives for quite some time, laying there flopping about. Finally a lioness spots the treat and gobbles it up. Good Halloween treat here, lol....action starts at 2:41

A few things I haven't seen mentioned here before:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzvfNqxd-Rw A lone hyena devouring the intestines of a twitching warthog.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C27EkLW5ZQ A lone hyena again chewing on a large struggling wildebeest calf. Bright red blood in the midday sun.

https://youtu.be/5rzL1Fozk5Q lionesses and cubs having a liesurely family meal of giraffe calf, into the guts through both the belly and anus. Lots of intestines devoured in crisp HD.

One more excellent video capture: a small pride of lions eats a zebra alive. At 6:24 they roll the zebra over to show the hole they've chewed into its belly and continue to pull out and devour their living prey's intestines.

I don't often post in this thread, but if I see something interesting in my youtube searches, I am happy to contribute.

Here a group of cheetahs use their ju-jitsu skills to take down an impala and proceed to rip it's rump open and start eating quite a while before it expires. Decent camera angles and close shots, and I'm sure a longer video of this feeding exists. I'll embed:

I haven´t posted nothing here, though I found what I think is a quite good video of a lion eating a baby warthog:

Young wilderbeest and a few Hyenas. Not the best footage ever, some stuff in the way and the some of the interesting spots are just too dark with the bright sunlight. But still some interesting bits such as probably the eating of both eyes while still alive.

Very little activity here in months.

There's HD video of two Komodo dragons patiently tearing at a deer's hindquarters and devouring it's guts. The animal lives for more than half of the video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmwC9HzcWbQ

Elsewhere a few wild dogs take down a lechwe and tear the struggling animal wide open.

Here is a pretty brutal one. Well filmed....several lionesses on an adult zebra stallion. What gets me is the sounds of the kill here. Cringe worthy!

Three hyenas bring down a topi on the open plain and rip it's guts out in broad daylight. A fourth joins in to dine. Grade B camera handling but still a pretty good video capture of the event:

https://youtu.be/JKXTk-DZmGs

So, where has all the recent activity gone to? Hardly anything happens here anymore.
