Red Sonja is a red-haired barbarian woman that likes sex, wine, and danger, and would put her life on the line to defend the weak and down-trodden. She can rival any knight in shining armor with her chain mail bikini.
This issue's cover has crocodiles circling around Red Sonja and she looks a tad worried. The story is about Red Sonja on the hunt for a head hunting tribe of swamp dwelling cannibals and their elusive artisan "chef". It's witty and arousing and there's several mentions of how they are going to cook and eat her and how they've eaten others. There is some gore, but nothing senseless. And no actual cannibalism scenes as they are heavily implied and up to your imagination, but the dialogue and atmosphere are spot on, so it should at least peak your interest as it did mine.
