Looming Shadow (M/F, Vampire/Human, Emotional Novella)

Hello all!

I've recently wrapped up a three-part novella focusing on the intense, emotional relationship between a vampire and a human called "Looming Shadow." It is a M/F story with a big focus on the relationship between the two protags, Fionn and Sarah. The premise is: Fionn will soon enter a "torpor," a period where he must sleep for a century. Meaning he will have to leave his best friend and partner, Sarah. They try to enjoy their last days as fully as they can before they are separated for a lifetime with evenings together, attending a local music festival, and lots and lots of eating (to satisfy Fionn's torpor-fueled appetite). However, the heavy emotions of having to separate begin to awaken in both of them a desire to find some way, any way, that they can stay together. Which brings out Fionn's more inhuman, monstrous side.

This is a Male Pred/Female Prey story. It has a big emphasis on growing horror as Fionn's hunger becomes more and more uncontrollable, but there's a lot of affectionate build up. There is a great deal of stuffing and weight gain as Fionn eats more to prepare for his torpor, gaining a prominent belly. There are several scenes of explicit sex as they enjoy each other physically. Some belly and maw play. A lot of discussion of their emotions for each other. It is more story than pure kink, so it is slower, but there is kink there.

For warnings, the biggest to be aware of is that there is violence against animals in part two. Not as kink but as pure horror and part of the consequences of the story. If you want to avoid that, stop reading part two after they leave the music festival. The other main warning is that there are a lot of horror elements to Fionn, both emotional and physical, as more of his inhuman side is shown. This is hinted at briefly in one, more so in two (especially after the festival), and fully revealed in three after the sex scene. I won't reveal the details for spoiler reasons, but Fionn's body is able to change in ways that some might view as body horror and his emotional state becomes more and more yandere as time goes on.
