When I started out on Furrymuck, Athelind Stormdancer started calling me (and another giant-weaselish character) 'woozles', after the beastie from Winnie the Pooh. It sort of stuck. Occasionally people call ferrets woozles, too, and I look something like a giant six legged ferret.
