"Mere- Meredith, wait! You are- nnn- Not in any danger! you are safe!" Telluria desperately tried to stroke the girl's head, hoping her voice would calm Meredith down.

"All of my kind can control our digestion like this! You will not be smothered, or hurt in any way!"
