Giant pokemon island (misty and ultimated)

It was midday on a strange uncharted island. Shawn was slowly waking on the beach, looking about in a daze. Last thing he remembered was being out on his boat with his friend Nova, when an unexpected storm hit. He ended up passing out as the boat capsized. He soon sees Nova nearby, moving to see if she was ok.

Nova, a young female sergal with red fur, to whom a sweet strawberry scent seemed to cling, gets to her feet and shakes the sand out of her fur. "Sh-Shawn, mmph... Wh-where are we?" she asks, the little 4' 06" creature looking up at her human companion for support.

[mistydolphin]

He was visibly relieved that she was alright. "I'm not sure, I just woke up myself." he tells her.

Nova groans softly, rubbing her head as she wraps her arms around him in a tight hug. "W-we crashed, didn't we? W-will the boat still float? A-are we trapped here?"

[mistydolphin]

He hugs her bacjk, trying to console her, but also partly because he could use a bit of it himself. "Well think of something. We'll make a raft if we have to."

[ultimated]

Nova sniffles gently and nods her head. "Y-yeah, I guess," she replies, sighing softly as she stands back up straight. "Um... S-so where is the boat?"

[mistydolphin]

He checks the area, seeing no sign of it nearby. "Hmm, i'm not sure, but if we're lucky it may have just washed up somewhere around here. I mean how big could this island pissi..." he starts soon noticing something seemed a little off. "Uh, is it just me, or does that vegetation seem a little bigger than usual?" he asks, hoping he was just seeing things.

[ultimated]

"Um..." mumbles Nova, making a beeline along the beach and towards the foliage at the edge. Even the blades of grass were almost as tall as they were, and the trees towered like skyscrapers into the air beyond!

[mistydolphin]

"Welllll... brightside, if we need to make a raft, there'll be no shortage of materials." he says, trying to make light of this situation.

[ultimated]

Nova groans, sitting down on the ground between the blades of grass. "But it'll all be too big to handle!" she exclaims in response.

[mistydolphin]

"You have a point." he says sighing. "There could be someone on this island. Maybe we can find help." he suggests.

[ultimated]

"Sure," replies Nova, getting back to her feet. "Um... I guess we should just... Head in, then?" she asks, gesturing to the gigantic jungle before them.

[mistydolphin]

"Well, it's better than sitting here, twiddling our thumbs." he says.

[ultimated]

"A-alright..." murmurs Nova, taking his hand and slowly advancing into the jungle...

[mistydolphin]

Time passes as they trudge forward. There were no signs of other people. But with how big things were, a relative yard felt like a mile. Shawn looks up, seeing the sun was going down. "It's getting late, maybe we should set up camp for the night.

[ultimated]

Nova nods her head, rubbing her eyes. "I think I can make us a campfire if we can g-get some small enough wood to burn," she mumbles, snapping her fingers. Sparks fly out, and eventually her thumb catches fire. "I, uhm. I may have never told you that I have, um, some power over fire," she murmurs meekly.

He watches, clearly surprised. "That is an impressive feat. Have you always been able to do"that?"

[ultimated]

Nova nods her head softly. "Mhm," she replies, then opens her hand again and dispells the flame. "A-anyway, since that makes it m-much easier to light fires, w-we just need some shelter and some firewood... Um, should we find a place together and have one of us clear it out while the other fetches firewood?"

[mistydolphin]

"Sure. Once we find a spot, I 'll handle the wood." he tells.

Nova nods her head, and gently begins to lead Shawn away through the grass. Before too long, they happen upon an area where the gras lays flat along the floor, with some areas of dirt exposed and the grass forming a nice wall around them. "Um, th-this looks like a good spot..." she murmurs, sitting down upon the springy grass with a relieved smile. "Wh-why don't you go find some firewood, um, wh-while I look for some twigs and leaves to make little tents from?" The sergal would be a lot less comfortable with their spot if she'd realised that the area of flattened grass is a gigantic footprint!
