BOSS MONSTER: Lilixis the Fey Cervitaur – AKA Lilixis of the Running Wood – AKA The Game Huntress
Backstory:
Spoiler: show
Very few have ever ascertained the true origin of Lilixis, despite the fact that, if you asked her, she’d tell you. Her mother was a dryad, and her father a Satyr, a chance meeting of fey and nature, and a perversion of both. A creature steeped in the Fey, but never truly of them, Lilixis was raised by her instincts alone, born a fiercely independent creature, and as she grew, she discovered an affinity for both her birth rites.
From her father, Lilixis gained an urge to savor the intimacy of sex, the thrill of chasing down and raping mortal men and women, for indeed she’d been born with both sexes. From her mother, she gained the compulsion to protect and enhance nature, a natural ability to grow the plants around her, to encourage beasts of all varieties to attend her and help in that defense.
They combined in an interesting way, forming Lilixis’ love for the chase and hunting! Ever a child-like game for the cervitaur, a deer-like centaur, she makes a grand show of hunting and being hunted in return, never tiring of games of martial prowess and innocence-veiled danger. Her surprisingly immense magical power assisted her in these games, and that power only grew as she continued to hunt down mortals.
For her innocent games were never benign. When she caught a human, she’d either kill them as a conclusion, not quite understanding the mortal frailty, or lay with them, forcing herself onto them as an alternative to death, most of the time. Most often, she used her strange combination of natural and Fey magic to seduce the partner into being willing, but often she didn’t, her lithe body still far stronger than any normal mortal. Due to this strength, though, and her strange physiology, not many survived the coupling. Suffice to say, many who entered her enchanted glen never returned, and those that did came back heavy with child, sometimes even men, giving birth to strange, fey creatures or even plants! When she was hunted, she would often play along, allowing the adventurers or monster slayers to chase her, sometimes even to kill an illusory version of her, just to see their faces when she popped out again, good as new to continue the chase until they were exhausted and the game concluded.
In the beginning, she was a tale of caution, a hunter’s dreaded hunter, a wilderness spirit that was to be avoided at all costs, but civilization has a way of creeping into contact with things best left alone. Roads began to be built near and then through Lilixis’ vast domain, and at first, she enjoyed the new kind of thing, a stone laid path! One that didn’t shift each year! What fun she had running along these roads, and so many new mortals to hunt along them! And more hunters that came for her! It was thrilling for her, so many new and interesting people, even races she’d never met before!
And then a town was built! Right in the midst of her Wood! The settlers were stoic folk, and had come from a practical and far off land that didn’t put much stock in the superstitious nonsense of those who knew this place well. They saw this vast uninhabited land as verdant, unexploited wilderness, and couldn’t understand why no one had settled in this lush forest. Sure, there was a few monsters in it, but any wilderness had the same kinds of troubles.
For the next century, the foolish settlers were tormented nonstop by the playful Fey. She was a constant menace, stealing children and adults alike, some returned, changed, some vanishing completely. Crops would always grow well, but many would bestow ‘interesting’ effects onto the ones who ate them, sometimes even killing them. Even worse, Lilixis would encourage the townsfolk to hunt her, to chase her into the forest whenever she could, leading them into traps and ambushes, or just running them to exhaustion. She was a tireless prey, and an even more tireless hunter.
But of course, this was all a game to the silly Fey. She never held any ill-will towards the humans. Even as they cut down her woods, she interpreted it as a competition. They would knock down her forest, and she would build it back up, they would hunt her, and she would hunt them! A century of fun for her, it was. She never really considered, never really cared, for the suffering she inflicted upon them, the heart ache she left when she stole a loved one, the rage she created when she fooled with their crops. Her perspective was too alien, too naïve. If she’d been more aggressive, she could have easily wiped the town from her woods and prevented any mortal infestation, but she didn’t think that way.
Finally, after a hundred years of endured suffering, the village gave birth to a maiden so beautiful, even Lilixis was struck with love at the sight of her. She did everything she could to woo this girl, this young woman. She gave her gifts, wishes, performed tasks and quests to win her favour. For the first time in her life, it wasn’t just about having fun anymore, she wanted to please someone else! Of course, the town folk took immediate advantage of this. They used Lilixis to tame the wild Fey woods, to open the roads to bring in more people. They built a small kingdom with the cervitaur’s power, and even had her defeat a small army that had threatened to invade form a nearby land.
Of course, this was never to last, but it ended so much sooner than anyone could have anticipated. The young woman who was the focal point of Lilixis affections suddenly took her own life, exhausted by the demands of the towns people. Somehow, she’d truly come to love Lilixis over the years of genuine, naïve and one sided and affectionate advances. Her charm and joy was infectious, even if she was utterly inhuman. The beautiful woman couldn’t bear manipulating her anymore, and so she leapt into a massive summer bonfire, and burned to ashes before anyone could react to save her. The townsfolk, now lead by a self-appointed king, the father of the beautiful girl, panicked, and called upon powerful forces from afar. They had the influence now, now that Lilixis had given them so much of her forest and had helped them so much. They used that power to imprison her, to contain her until they could find another maiden beautiful enough to control her again.
And so Lilixis slept beneath the earth.
Until now.

Description of Lilixis the Fey Cervitaur
Spoiler: show
Standing at just over normal human height, Lilixis is actually one of the taller Fey. The upper half of a fair skinned, small chested woman sitting upon the body of a brown and white spotted, white-tailed deer, she’s the embodiment of energy. Much stronger than she looks, her head has short brown hair, and a small pair of delicately branching antlers, which she losses once a year, but they grow back in a few weeks’ time. Her big green eyes speak of lust and enchantment without words, her natural aura of seduction only overpowered by her lust for the hunt. Anyone who sees her knows the danger she is immediately, though many can’t ignore the savage attraction they feel for her. Equipped with both a lovely feminine pussy and a well-endowed cock, Lilixis can and does hunt and seduce both sexes regularly, though she does prefer women.
Stats and Abilities
Spoiler: show
HP-300 MP-100 Atk-12 Def-4
Ability: Dramatic Death: 10 MP - When Lilixis takes ‘Lethal’ damage in combat, she makes an extremely over-dramatic show of dying before her hunters, collapsing before them. The next turn she appears from somewhere new, her body disappearing, revealed to be an illusion! Lethal damage is 10 or more damage after her HP has been reduced to 50% or less, or any damage after she’s been reduced to less than 20% HP. When Lilixis reappears, she deals an extra point of damage to all adventurers in the room, and anyone hit by her returning attack doesn’t get to attack her back that turn, tricked into believing she was dead.
Passive Ability: Wild Seduction: Every turn an adventurer is in the Boss Room, they must resist Lilixis’ seductive wiles. There is a 15% chance they fall for her, and if they do, they lose 1 Atk, and become ‘Flustered’. Once Flustered, there is then a 40% chance to be seduced. If seduced while flustered, adventurers stop attacking and using abilities, becoming ‘Enthralled’. Lilixis can make love to one Enthralled Adventurer per turn, gaining 1 Atk for the rest of the chapter and reducing the Atk of all other adventurers in the room by 1. Additionally, her seductive abilities increase for the remainder of the chapter by 5%.
Dungeon Ability: Allure of the Hunt: There is double the chance for Hunters (and hunter based classes) to invade Lilixis’ Dungeon. Each time a Hunter is defeated within the Dungeon, Lilixis gains 1 ‘Renown’ as an elusive prey. Renown will build up until it reaches 50, at which time a Heroine sent by the Goddess of the Hunt herself will appear to attempt to take Lilixis as her prey! If Lilixis defeats this Heroine, she gains a mysterious boon known as ‘The Ultimate Prey’, which replaces this Ability. Current Renown: 2.

Dungeon: Enchanted Forest – The Running Wood
Backstory
Spoiler: show
There was always a fairy wood where Lilixis was born, but under her guidance, it became a veritable kingdom of the Fey. Not for the thrill of conquest, just to have more room and friends to play with. She enticed all kinds of fey and beast alike to fill her home and infused the land with the energy she stole from her victims. The once small glen that had been the meeting place between a satyr and a Dryad became a vast forest of wonder and danger, especially if Lilixis herself was on the prowl for something to hunt.
When Lilixis was trapped, entombed in her stone prison by a troop of mercenaries, the energies she’d built up for centuries was unleashed in a slow, but steady tidal wave of chaos that caused massive devastation across the entire region, not just inside her little woodland. Without its master there to regulate it, disasters began that lasted decades. The forest grew with abandon, engulfing entire towns in plants within days. Beasts, imbued with unnatural strength, rampaged and hunted everything they could find, and the fey scattered, bringing the worst of the chaos with them as they moved across the land, ever eager to find something interesting to do now that their leader was gone. It took almost a century for most of the Fey magic to disperse or be contained by adventurers, mostly ebbing on its own over time. Now that Lilixis has returned, perhaps the forest will surge in size once more, attracting back all the inhabitants that have fled since her fall. Such a thing could only spell disaster for the neighbours of this strange Wood.
