Illustrated interactive by Knt27- Updated september 2020
So, I thought I'd share my illustrated interactive "Secrets of Faybrook Academy" with you guys (http://aryion.com/iss/page.php?page=1&story=498). I'm the only contributor, and I'm not looking for suggested chapters, but I thought this might of interest since I haven't come across any illustrated interactives on Eka's before. It's primarily F/M, human/human, monster/human with a heavy dose of femdom, but I jazz it up with unexpected turns here and there (there's a male monster/male human chapter). This interactive is still very much a work in progress (still pretty short), but it's based on a few simple principles:
1. Building suspense. Letting anticipation grow before offing the protagonist.
2. Letting the choices be actual choices that you could make, so you don't always know what's about to happen. Rather than choosing for the pred ("She digests me" or "She let's me out") you get to make decisions of your own that land you in different sorts of trouble. More like classic Choose Your Own Adventure books.
3. A plot that's interconnected and builds to a climax (this won't be evident for a while, but trust me, it's coming).
Hope you enjoy!

This is really cool, I was a fan of your photomanip stories as well, but I do have one suggestion.
Don't put include the dead links. If you want to leave an indicator that there will be more to a story line, write the "To be continued." at the end of a chapter rather than on the other side of a link.
But seriously, great work.

I decided to post illustrations to this thread as I make them instead of the "Work to be Shared" forum. It's more relevant to the forum, as my interactive is ever so slowly but surely growing whenever I find time to work on it. Check out the new chapters: http://aryion.com/iss/page.php?page=2&story=498

Oh, man, dude. Dude. You.
You are an excellent writer and an excellent artist. I am incredibly excited to see the developments you make in this, and after years of being jaded with the lack of quality in interactive fiction, I don't use that word lightly.

Wow! Thanks! I'm glad to see that someone's actually reading (and enjoying) this thing.

Fantastic work! I don't get a whole lot of enjoyment out of most interactives here because they don't often have depth, personality, or (dare I say it) reason and logic. Your work, however, goes above and beyond the typical and I very much agree that Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style with the build-up, anticipation, and slightly ambiguous, but meaningful choices that lead to sensible consequences is definitely the way to go.
Extremely looking forward to seeing more. Keep it up, please!

Thanks! I've got a bunch of illustrations for unwritten chapters worked up... now I just have to find time to write! I have many, many devious ideas up my sleeve.

New chapter (it's been a while). This one resolves the ogre/fairy branch of the story, which I spent entirely to long on. Hope you enjoy! (Warning: Contains fairly graphic digestion- m/fm)
