Any tips on custom gallery theme quirks?

Postby YepMcNope » Mon Feb 21, 2022 10:23 pm

So I customized my gallery theme for the first time. I tried to imitate the colors of Discord's dark theme, as I've always found them to be pleasing to the eye. But as much as I'm happy with how the theme came out, I do find it a bit unusual how certain colors can't be customized.

The tag colors for one, but that makes sense since they have a specific color-coding scheme, so that's not really a problem. No worries there.

There's also the fact that, while the textbox borders can be customized, the borders of the tabs at the top of the profile appear not to be? But again, not a huge deal. Hardly noticeable unless you point it out.

But then there are the stats at the top left of the profile, such as "Comments Made," "Comments Received," "Total Views," etc. The numbers next them seem to be set to a specific color that I can't change, or at least don't know how. Said color is hardly readable against my choice of background color. Is there anything I can do about this other than just not using a dark theme?

You just have to make the colors darker than the numbers, but then you also have to make your text light to be visible as well.
