Awww, that's too bad to hear. I wish you luck finding groups/RPs that is more what you were looking for! That being said, I totally have half a mind of Taizee asking Scathatch to help her (with her grumbly tummy), if you would be interested in going out in a different way Ender.

Sorry to see you go. Merry Xmas/Happy new year, all. My busy-ness should now be subsiding so i can get back to regular posting.
Fish diving into someone could be a good way to go.

I have actually changed my mind about leaving the campaign. I will be keeping Scathatch in.

Re: Tobuka Islands OOC (PATHFINDER, CLOSED)
My apologies for the last post being so late. I wish I had a good reason, but I don't.
Also, I was thinking about making a change to the vore rules. I want to make it so that it only takes one vore check to consume a prey, or maybe a series of checks best out of three (all in the same turn). I want to encourage players to use the vore rules.

Re: Tobuka Islands OOC (PATHFINDER, CLOSED)
I like the sound of being able to consume prey quicker. Though I do have a bias since I like my character getting increasingly bloated with prey and/or food at every opportunity.

In the event I have vanished it means I no longer have internet access.

In my live-session pathfinder game, we used the vore rules plenty

Re: Tobuka Islands OOC (PATHFINDER, CLOSED)
Yeah, the vore rules only really become a competetive, viable strategy at like level 12 or so, so I'm fine with this campaign allowing for more of that already with some alterations to the rules!

Alright. So, if I could conduct a poll among everyone, how should it be? Single vore check or best two out of three? All in the same turn.

Re: Tobuka Islands OOC (PATHFINDER, CLOSED)
I'd say that an option could be that you still have the stages of ingestion as before, only that each initiated grapple/vore check allowed you to do three vore checks, and if all succeeded, the victim was instantly swallowed, if two succeeded, the victim was ingested, and if only one succeeded out of 3, they were only grappled. That way the feats that allow you to consume your opponents with less checks would still be useful, by making your vore-checks more consistent.

Re: Tobuka Islands OOC (PATHFINDER, CLOSED)
I am all for making vore more useful in a fight. Easier to fill my belly then! Doing that would invalidate some feats meant to speed up the eating process, like voracious, but overall I'd welcome the change. Netjak's idea seems the best to me as you only get so far as your success takes you.

Re: Tobuka Islands OOC (PATHFINDER, CLOSED)
I prefer best two-out-of-three, because i don't want it to be based entirely on luck. (tho it still will be, it won't be based off the luck of one 20 or one 1.)
I disagree with more rolls, though as Netjak suggested. There's feats that provide more rolls.
The problem with vore not being viable is until later, it's got a 50/50% chance of being successful and also action economy. As long as the prey isn't murdering everyone in the time that it takes you to eat it, then it's viable.
