The Chase

************************************************************************************
This is a totally new chapter from the Hatching's storyline. Once again, this is a private RP. If you wish to join, please post a message on "The Hatching Discussion" thread and we will see if we can fit you in!
************************************************************************************

A few months had passed since the disappearance of Jaku's second family. His priorities to his hatchlings kept him bound to his home with his best lizard Arakin. It had been a strange time, especially with his son Tasu, who unfortunately got himself gravely injured while survival training underwater. Not a day goes by that he does not look down to his womb and gently caress the large and long bulge his child makes below his waist.

Which is exactly what he can usually be found doing just outside of the den in the subtle warmth of the autumn sun. He runs his two thick fingers and thumb over his belly scales, waiting for any sign that could let Tasu emerge back into the world. But as each day passes, that little instinct in the back of his head quietly reminds him that something else is going on deep inside his body.

But all that thought and peace is quickly interrupted by a small naga tumbling out of the den at full speed and leaping into his coils!
He jumps a bit in surprise, but can't help but laugh as Suri shouts out "DADDY LEMMIE IN LEMMIE IN!! ITS COOOLD!"

Sure enough Suri squirms around his coils looking for his tail. He laughs and smiles "Okay okay!! Hold on!" He squirms around, and shifts his piled up body until his tail slides up infront of Suri. As soon as she lays her eyes on his tailjaws, she rams her fingers between his lips and forces his tailjaw wide open. Before he could even blink, Suri drops her blanket and slams her face into the folds of his serpentine throat! He murrs happily and swallows fast. His little naga has grown quite a bit in a very short time, no doubt because of Arakin's magic every time he catches her.

Its another peaceful day at Jaku's home. He lays resting in the sun with his eyes closed not far from Jaku. He has given up the search for their friends. He wasn't able to expand search as far he wanted to. With Jaku taking care of the injured Tasu now. He needs to stay to close to their lair. Though its been weeks since any soldiers have trying to find them, he knows they have not even up. The only times he venture out is to go hunting. He liked it with the soldiers around. They made such easy prey. He just sighs and lets the sun warm his body.

Arkain jumps up with a start when he hears Suri suddenly come tumbling out of the den leaping into his coils. He looks around seeing there something wrong. He lets out a laugh when he hears Suri complain that its cold. HE knows what she wants. He smiles watching Jaku shift his coils around and bring his tail maw up. He laughs at how quickly Suri gets Jaku's tail maw open and dives inside. She has grown so big. She doesn't slide in like she use to.

Colonel Ara sits in his tent reading the reports on the multiple repeated failed attempts to find the nagas that have been eluding their capture for all these months. He smashes his fist on the table. Search party after search party has found clues but non has lead to solid leads. Anytime they think they are getting close, the search parties suddenly disappeared and no trace is ever found of them. His Dad, the Commander was brutally killed by the nagas. He swore to have his revenge on them. He has worked his ways up quickly through the ranks. He now has confirmed sightings of the two young nagas out hunting with that damn lizard. They have grown at an amazing rate. This is something that has renewed the Chimera Projects interest. With the disappearance of the last one in charge, they have put him in charge. He has assured them he can capture the nagas. The tripling of the reward hasn't hurt motivate him. The thick dense forest has been giving the naga's the perfect hiding place and foiling all attempts to find them. Well that is going to change. Plans are in the works to launch a shock and awe campaign unlike they have seen before that will drive them from their strong hold. He has already tripled the number of soldiers and helicopters but he still the sheer size of the forest makes it impractical to launch an all out assault. He needs to know best place to start the attack. He has told the company he needs a better tracker. He opens up the file on a new tracker the company is sending him. His name is Valiar Kellus. Hummm, an expert tracker. Very impressive. Seems to be a bit of a tree huger to him but the company says he is the best. He laughs, just like all the rest they sent. He yells out. "Send me Valiar Kellus now."

From where he was perched up in a tree, Kellus surveyed the forest, taking note of it’s above average density and cover. Mounting any kind of large-scale operation here was going to be tricky. His radio interrupted his train of thought before he could continue, however.

“Sir, the Colonel has requested you. Should I tell him you’re coming?”

“Yes, best not keep him waiting.” Kellus stands from where he had been situated and began making his way back toward the base. Standing about 5’10” with dark brown hair, his only visible indentifying feature was a scar that completely circled his neck. His clothes and equipment, on the other hand, would draw attention virtually anywhere he went. Dark leather comprised most of his outfit along with a deep green cloak that draped him from his shoulders down to his feet. Strapped across his back were a large axe not unlike a fireman’s axe and a bow almost as big as he was. An overlarge quiver went along with it, and the handles of two dagger-ish weapons protruded from under the cloak at his belt.

What stood out the most, however, was the small creature perched on his shoulder. Seemingly composed of bits of wood, vines, and other natural materials, it simply rode on his shoulder as he walked, occasionally chittering at him in an unidentifiable language laden with high-pitched chirps and snaps. Otherwise it was content to simply wait and observe what was around him.

He had received a terse message from a Chimera Project representative stating that they had contracted him for an undisclosed mission in dense forest terrain, but the message hadn’t said anything further, so he was anxious to learn what exactly he would be doing for them. The message had included a location for the forward base, so he had gone ahead and started a basic survey of the terrain before the Colonel had asked for him.

Arriving at the Colonel’s tent, he paused to let the guard ID him, then entered. “You wanted me, sir?”

(Sorry for the delay)

A man was making his way through the mountains, alone but certainly not unarmed. He was dressed up in some sort of suit that had a helmet of frosted glass, followed by a chemical suit with Kevlar stitched in around the chest area that resembled body armor. One could think that he was a soldier of unknown origin, but something wasn't quite right with him. He held the assault rifle with his right hand, his head with his left as he walked along.

One of these days, Marc, you're going to get what's coming to ya.

Suddenly, he buckled to his knees and dropped the gun. His hands reached up for his head as he slowly shook it left to right, remembering those words clearly. A few minutes would pass before he retch back down and pick his weapon up. "God, it seems like it's been years since then but I've never been able to forget." He muttered to himself as he kept walking. This was Marc Charley, one of the guards during the Chimera Project. It has been quite some time since then, but this part of the past refused to die on him. Assigned by the government to observe the secretive institute, Marc did get out of there in one piece and gathered as much information as he could, but not without cost. He sacrificed some of his co-workers for his own survival and even though they simply came back from the dead, the act still haunted him.

But ever since he was hired, those memories started to return. Someone contacted him several weeks ago with information about the Project and gave Marc the opportunity to find some loose ends. At first, he refused but grief and curiosity got the better of him. Now having been hired as a sort of free-agent, he finally had the chance to make up for what he did.

Marc's thoughts slowly drifted away into nothingness as he approached the front gate of the military base. He holster his weapon and flashed an ID badge so they would let him in. He was running a bit late for his briefing with the Colonel, getting carried away with scouting and the flashback. He quickly took off his helmet and opened the door. "Sorry, I'm late. Scouting the new area took longer than I thought." He said rather casually, but it was clear something was on his mind.

Jaku shifts around with Suri atop his coils and swallows happily. His tail lifts up and ungulates back and forth with each swallow, quickly pulling his little girl deep into his stretching body. Her upper torso vanishes into his trunk in a few good pulls. With a big swallow, he pulls Suri's hip into his gullet and takes a deep breath. He suddenly laughs, feeling her bellyscales push and pinch against his tongue and throat trying to squirm and push her way down into his hot sun-drenched body.

He looks over at Arakin and smiles, waving him over, subtly opening a hole in his thick piled up body for him to crawl onto. All the while swallowing down Suri very happily. "Hey Arakin! I think I'm a lot warmer than that rock. You coming?"

Colonel Ara continues to sit behind glaring at the two as they enter with cold anger in his eyes. Patience not being on of his strong suits. He lets out a quick whistle then looks down at the down at the paper work and reading them some more. The door flaps slide open and a very large gray thick furred wolf pads quietly in between you with a bit of a swollen belly. His head almost chest high in height next to you. The wolf looks up at you with eerie cold blue eyes. You would swear he was sizing up his next meal. The wolf sits next to the Colonel. He rubs the wolfs ears. "I would consider investing in a better watch Marc. I don't tolerate people being late. That's why you are here. The person you are replacing now also showed up late with lousy ideas but he's here now right on time." He look down at the wolfs full belly and gives a cold laugh. Then he bangs his fist on the table. "Now listen closely you two. Top officials of The Chimera Project are sick and tired of constantly hearing that no one is able to catch those damn nagas and lizard. Reports have shown the nagas children are growing at an amazing rate and the others are growing stronger ever since they escaped. They want them back so they can find out why. Now repeated attempts to capture the naga in their present location have failed and we have lost many soldiers. The rough terrain makes it difficult to capture them. The officials are sick of all the failures. That's why you two are here. We have heard you two are the best. The officials say they are willing to do what ever is necessary to capture those nagas. It doesn't matter how. Money is no object. They want results, not excuses. So what brilliant ideas do you two have for me?"
Colonel Ara is making it sound like the Chimera Project wants the nagas back safely but things have gotten out of control. If a naga or two has to be killed to bring him the children then so be it.

Arkain wakes up with start. He was starting to doze off. He smiles watching his Suri start to disappear inside him. He is sure she is enjoying the trip down. He knows he has. He looks at the rock then he looks at Jaku and smiles. "You know, I think you are right. And a whole lot more comfortable." He chuckles and quickly gets up and walks over to you. He rubs your coils looking about for a spot. "So where would you like me?"

Kellus simply glances at the wolf, then back at Ara, apparently not concerned. The mantis on his shoulder, on the other hand, fixes it's attention on the wolf, and does little but stare at it. "I've started an initial sweep of the area, and I've got some bad news for you. This is some of the densest areas of jungle I've had to work in. It won't pose much of a problem for me, or any other specialists you've got here, but ordinary men won't be able to do much out there, and the cover is thick enough that if the nagas don't want to be found, I'm probably the only one who would be able to even get close to them, and I'm not so confident about even that. Worse, I've already located at least half a dozen feral furies out there, mostly wood and earth. Sending teams out into the forest unassisted will only get them killed if they run into one of them. Your men have already started to agitate one, so I'll need to deal with that soon anyway."

"As for ideas, I have a few, but none of them are ideal. Your problem here is the cover the forest gives them, so the best solution would be to remove said cover. You've enough heavy machinery here to bulldoze a path straight to their den, once we find it. The problem with that would be the noise; they'll know you're coming, so you'll need to set up a perimeter around the den so you can catch them when they run. You're also going to rile up the locals, including the furies I mentioned. Another solution would be to employ some sort of defoliant, chemical or otherwise. That would take longer, though, and you run the risk of poisoning the nagas, or anything else that goes into the affected area. The only other option is to send people in on foot, and you're going to have a lot of casualties if you go that route, considering the numbers you would need to overpower the nagas if they're as nasty as you say they are."

"Regardless, my first goal is going to be locating the den so that we have a target. Also, just so you know, if your overgrown puppy over there ever tries anything, you'll need a new pet. All the money in the world won't stop me from defending myself if I don't like what's going on, and when I fight I don't hold back."

Marc shifted in his seat as the wolf sat down in between him, glancing at him and watching every move. Upon meeting the wolf's gaze, he would shift around more and allow a small, shiny object to be revealed. "I wouldn't try it buddy, unless you enjoy stitches. And that's when I'm feeling nice." He growled under his breath, making sure the wolf understood before focusing back on the task at hand. He would listen to Kellus's suggestions and give his own input.

"As I said before, I was surveying the mountains in an attempt to find a safer route to the nagas. The plus side is that I didn't encounter anything or anyone up there and they overshadow the forest. The downside is that they are very difficult to navigate as there are a bunch of steep cliffs and very little cover. If you're up and about on one of the plateaus, I'm quite sure you'll be spotted." He would shift around in his chair.

"But I had a different idea in mind. There's a chance that they could let me into their group, seems how I'm an ex-Chimera Project member. The suit will keep me safe from them trying to devour me and I can use tranquilizer rounds for my pistol to hopefully take the twins without much resistance, but there's a bit of a problem with being by myself. I don't know if I can get out of there alive if they get violent."

((Hey, I'm going to step up the pace a bit with Jaku's transformation. I think it'll add a bit of extra fun if the timing works out.))

He lifts up a curled length of his coils over Arakin's head and with a quick tug, he pulls the little lizard into his piled up body and slides around him for a few moments. Jaku easily twists and turns the small, lightweight lizard around in the grasp of his twisting body. He smiles happily and brings Arakin to a rest onto of his warm body with Suri's squirming tail overtop of his lap.

He lets out a sigh and smiles, looking down at his body shifting and bulging around from his hatchling working her way inside of his body.

After a good quiet moment, besides the sounds of Suri squirming down his gullet, he leans back on his coils and takes a deep calming breath. Soaking up the sun. Meanwhile inside his head, a little voice yells out. "Tell him! Tell him!" He nods quietly and gives the lizard a nudge with his coil.

"Hey, Arakin. There's something you gotta know…. Tasu's not coming back out for a very long time." He gives the belly in his lap a warm pat and smiles "He's decided to stay inside and share this body of ours. I think you've noticed my belly has been shrinking over the past few weeks."
He grins and pulls Suri's tailmaw into his jaws. The smaller snake's head opens wide in-between his jaws and makes for quite the sight. Suri nuzzles in and breathes though her tail, totally unaware of the conversation going on outside of her fleshy cocoon.

"Let me just assure you that the little guy is very happy with this. In fact, it was his idea. At first he just didn't want to come back out. I'm sure you remember what that's like from that time that I gave you that tail of yours. But then, we started to realize that things were changing."
He blushes just a bit and laughs. "I'm sure you know that with each unbirthing, there's usually a little transformation that happens to the host. Well, Tasu just somehow knew that there's an actual path to these little changes. And he's giving me everything I need to reach it. Considering that our minds are linked up so tightly together he's been able to help me figure out how my body is going to change."

He grins a bit "I'm not going to give everything away, but after Tasu is completely absorbed, my body will start to change. I'll be pretty close to the same, but the best part is that I'm going to be stronger, larger, and what I am looking forward to the most is that I'll be able to hold onto those I take in. For months, years, or even a lifetime. It's kind of amazing. But then there's there's going to be a much bigger change too." He can't help but blush so hard his body heats up. "How can I put this.. I'll be pretty close to Tamara's physique. With a few added benefits."

The wolf looks up at the mantis with its cold blue eyes and licks its lips then he looks at Marc then a glance at the metal object in his hand. The wolf just looks away and burps then lays its head down on its paws and closes his eyes.

"Relax gentlemen lets focus on the task at hand. OK?" Colonel Ara rubs the wolfs head then rolls out a satellite map of the area and studies it briefly. He looks at Marc. "You are quite right. That's exactly the problem we have been having." He looks at Kellus. " I like your idea of removing the forest cover. I agree that a defoliant will take too long and could poison the nagas. That's why we have not used it. We have been looking for the right people for this campaign and I feel we found them. The nagas have been using the natural foliage to their advantage too long at the cost of too many soldiers. What you have seen is only part of heavy machinery I plan to us. I have had this plan in the works for a while waiting for the right opportunity to set it in motion. I have been keeping them hidden so the nagas will not see what we are planning. Don't make the mistake of underestimating them. They have been watching us, I am sure of it. We need to drive them out of their den. That's their strong hold. Once we can get them out of the that damn forest then we can drive them towards you Marc."

He looks at Marc thinking how foolish it would be to say your with the project that has been trying to capture you but hey if it works. He smiles. "Marc I will give you your chance to try to see if you can get close enough to tranquilize the young nagas. I hope that suit is better then you say it is. Trust me these nagas are much bigger and much stronger than any others you have encountered. They are as dangerous as you have heard. They are very protective of the young ones. If you don't have the adult nagas out of picture, you will never have a chance of getting close to the young ones. Satellite have shown at least four adults nagas though the female tigress naga hasn't been seen in a while. We are not sure where she is. Consider yourself lucky. Nothing more dangerous then an angry Mom. Don't make the mistake of counting her out of the picture till you are sure."

He looks at the satellite pictures then at both of you. "As for any feral furies or anyone or anything else that gets in your way. Deal with them any way you deam fit. If any villages are caught offering safe haven for the nagas I want them dealt with swiftly and harshly. I want it clearly know what will happen if anyone helps the nagas. There is one other thing. There is a lizard living with nagas. He was working for my father and turned traitor. We had the nagas captured and he set them free. The Chimera Project wants him brought back alive, in one piece if possible. They have their own way of dealing with traitorous scum like him. Unless I happen to see him first." His fist clenches tightly and the other rubs the wolfs head. It was easy to see the hatred Ara had for Arkain. "Well. The day is still young. Lets get moving. You have one hour to get ready. I will be joining you and overseeing this campaign. I expect you both to be set up and ready to go at that time. I will meet you up front in one hour." He stands up and gathers up the material on his desk and heads out of the tent. He whistles for his wolf to follow him. The wolf deliberately pushes past the two of you while making his way out of the room with a smug look on his face.

Arkain laughs and grins when Jaku picks him up and happily lets himself slide along your wonderful warm coils. Its that spot next to Jaku that he cherishes. He enjoys any chance he can spend there next to being inside Jaku's warm insides. Arkain laughs lightly feeling Suri give him a nudge from inside Jaku. He can hear Suri."Tell me what Jaku." He looks at you a bit shocked. "He's not but....!" Then he laughs."OOohh I see. Hmmmm. Yes I have." He pats your body. He smiles and nods. "Really? He is?" He laughs and nods with a big grin. "Boy I sure do. That's part of the reason I like it so much inside you." He nods. "Yes, I remember. Hmmmm. Really! Yea, I can see Tasu figuring that out. He is very smart. Takes after his Dad." He laughs and nuzzles you.

He looks up and gives you a big aaawww. He pats you again. "I wouldn't mind seeing you bigger and stronger." Arkain grins again. "Wow! That does sound great. That long huh? Amazing is an understatement." He looks around feeling your body heating up then laughs realizing you are blushing. " What could be a bigger surprise? What! Are you serious? Your going to start to look like Tamara's. That's amazing." He laughs loudly and nuzzles you. "I can't wait to see what those added benefits are, my friend."

As the Colonel outlines his plan, Kellus listens silently and studies the map Ara had laid out on the table, noting a couple areas to check first. When he makes his opinion of Arkain known, Kellus's eyes seem to redden, before he closes his eyes and seems to steady himself, placing a hand on the hilt of one of the daggers in his cloak.

As Ara leaves, Kellus looks after him, then glances at Marc. "Keeping that much rage pent up inside of him like that...that's not healthy. I wasn't even trying and I could still read him like a book. I understand that the lizard was responsible for his father's death, but still..."

Kellus trails off, as the mantis on his shoulder chitters something at him. "Yes, I know. I'm wondering about that myself. We'll find out eventually, one way or another." Looking back at Marc, Kellus looks at his gear then back up at him. "Don't think we've been properly introduced. Valiar Kellus, furycrafter and woodsman. I was brought in to help these guys find and deal with the nagas. I'm assuming you're here for a similar reason?"

Marc hmmed, thinking about the machinery idea and meeting the nagas at the cliff. That could certainly work for the main objective, but he had his own plans in mind as well. "All right, I'll see you in one hour." He said as Ara left. He would overhear the mantis and Kellus discussing their thoughts on the Colonel and Marc had that feeling about him too. He was sort of zoning out when greeted by his compatriot and snapped back into reality. "Oh, my name's Marc. Marc Charley. Nice to meet you. I am here for that reason too, seems how I have a connection in The Chimera Project. I was one of the guards there and managed to escape from the facility without dying." He said, extending his hand to shake. "I've enhanced my body to have resistances in hazardous environments and I can make just about anything medicinal with herbs or plants due to my extensive knowledge of chemistry."

He leans back a bit, lifting a loop to support his shoulders. He watches his long body bend and bulge from Suri shifting around underneath his scales. He docent even notice at first, but his body begins to bead and sweat.
It takes a few minutes, but soon the immediate smell of the woods gets overtaken by his own scent. He slowly sits up, looking at the lizard with a confused look, and then an eager smile as his breaths start to sharpen into deep heavy breathing. His fingers start to twitch and tingle, and not soon after his skin tightens and bumps up. "Well, this isn't too baa…." Just as he begins to speak, Jaku lurches over with a large contraction of every major muscle along his body.
He gasps, and presses his hands onto his scales, supporting his torso upright, head tucked down, breathing very heavily. The lungs in his chest, and the larger ones in his trunk swell and depress his skin and scales. He shifts gently, but then suddenly winces heavily. With a muffled cry, his body pulls together very quickly and with an unintentional swing, his trunk meets Arakin at the chest and knocks him quickly to the ground!

The lage naga wraps his arms tightly around a coil and scrambles his body close. He balls up tighter and tighter as his body continues to change. He tries to bury his upper torso in his coils, but simply cant. Jaku lays atop his body gripping hard. Arakin can plainly see the contours of his backside thinning in some spots, and expanding in others. The features that structure his body shift and change underneath his skin and scales.

The sounds of shifting bones and the muffled cries of his voice permeate the immediate area just as potently as the smell of sweat beading heavily from his skin. His eyes shut tight, and his teeth clenched, he braces for the most intense push yet.
The sides of his back shift and slide as new bone forms underneath. Two large lumps form on either side of his chest, they slide and pop into place below his armpit and suddenly, with the most awful of bone splitting sounds, grow into a thick tubes out from underneath his arms!
The long masses of flesh under his armpits firm and stiffen into tubes that have a noticeable joint in the middle. The tips of the red fleshy tube split in three ways and form the spade of a hand. The tubes firmed, scaled, and shifted into a muscular perfection. Soon enough, there was no second guessing the massive growths. Jaku has grown an extra set of arms.

And there the naga lays, breathing heavily as its body slides limp. Four arms on the top of the torso, supported by a thin waistline, and a much thicker and stronger serpentine trunk that rests below the thick and round hip.

The serpent lays there, breathing, twitching, relaxing, tensing as his body settles into its new form. Bones lightly pop and snap as muscle bulges and twitches throughout every inch of skin and scale.

((I was wondering if one or both of you would be able to take command of the transports, if possible. TY))

Colonel Ara talks with the commanders in the troop and the ground troops while the last of the guns and ammo, high tech cages and supplies are loaded in the transports. The ground troops are wearing the latest high tech body armor. They are carrying a high tech rapid shot tranquilizer gun that can shot darts that can penetrate the toughest hide and one dart stop a charging rhino at 100 yards. There are three ground transports. They are high tech and huge. It can normally carry several hundred troops but most of that space is used for naga cages. The blade in front is massive. Its slow moving but fully capable of knocking over just about any trees that are in its way. ((Think of the ground transport used in the movie Avatar as an example)). There are several large helicopters for aerial support. An hour passes and The Colonel meets with each of you in front of his transport with several other of his commanders. "OK. This is how its going to go down. I will be directing the mission from Transport One here. I will take Transport one and spear head a path towards the last know location of the nagas lair. The other two will take flank on each side. Our goal is to force the nagas out of their strong hold and like a gauntlet drive them forward into ravine a few miles from here. There we will upper hand. They will have no way out. In there we will be able to easy to trap them. So it is of up most importance we work together. We do not want them slip by us. Any questions?."

Arkain continues to rub your massive scaly body. He looks at you rather concerned feeling some strange movement under your skin. He thinks its Suri at first then he gasps noticing definite movements under your skin. "What the heck?" He inhales deeply liking all the scent your body is releasing. He can feel the sweat on your body and hear your heavy breathing. He can tell this is the change you talked about. You seem rather casual about until he see lurch over from a powerful contraction. His hands can feel it. He feels your body start sway about then you let out a cry and your torso swings knocking him to the ground.

He quickly scoots backward then quickly stands up and move away not wanting to get caught by accident in one of those massive coils during this change. He stands there is awe watching your body change right in front of him. He watches the contours of your backside change and the features of your body change. He cringes watching bones shift and slide under skin. He can hear your muffled cries of pain. He cringes again hearing the terrible sound of bone splitting. He looks at that spot and watches in awe seeing the red fleshy tubes actually change into another set of arms.

He nods with approval at that change while looks you over. You were right about looking stronger with the thicker stronger trunk and a thinner waistline. He move up next to you and rubs your body now that it looks like you are done with the major part of the change though he can see and hear some changes being done to your body. "Are you OK Jaku? That sure looked awful painful. I got something for that. I have to say I am very impressed. That was some change. Say, how are the kids doing?" He puts his hands on your body and focuses his healing magic and sends a warm wave of his healing magic through out your body focusing on easing all the pain you must be feeling after the change but doing nothing to alter what happened to you.

Looking up at the massive vehicle, and then at the two just like it on either side, Kellus can't help but wonder how much the Chimera Project is willing to do to deal with the nagas. They have enough men and equipment here to qualify as a small army, and were better equipped than most of the other large groups he had worked with in the past.

"Well, they'll certainly know we're coming once these things get close. For now, I'll stay on one of the transports until we locate the nagas, then I'll split off and head them off at the ravine."

Kneeling down, Kellus places one hand on the ground. Next to him, the ground heaves suddenly and a large creature shaped like a wolf but composed entirely of stone pulls it's way out of the ground. It's shoulder is even with Kellus's, and it's eyes are a pair of black obsidian shards. Simultaneously, a nearby tree suddenly creaks and falls, but seems to unfold into a much larger version of the mantis that Kellus had with him earlier, standing easily 7 feet tall. Finally, the air around them swirls and coalesces into the somewhat insubstantial form of a hawk, again much larger than it's real-life counterpart. As Kellus stands, it's plain to see that his eyes are slowly shifting colors from brown to green to white and back again.

"These are three of my furies: Gaean of the Earth, Arboria of the Wood, and Chroma of the Wind. They'll act as my eyes and ears out ahead of the transports and should let us find the nagas faster. Between the three of them, there's nowhere the nagas can hide." As he finishes, Chroma takes to the air and quickly disappears into the sky, Gaean simply sinks back into the ground and moves quickly toward the woods as a slight hump underground, and Arboria skitters into the forest, vanishing among the trees.

"My only question at this point is what do we do if the nagas don't run, or if they split up. Do you want us to take them down if we get the chance?"

Seems how he worked for the Project before, Marc was a little familiar with the type of weaponry that the soldiers used, but the helicopters caused his jaw to drop. "Man, if they pooled their resources towards something more important than nagas, I'm sure the problem would be solved." He sighed as he listened to the commander. He had a feeling the nagas would get away if they used this method. "Sir, wouldn't this approach scare them off before we even got there? I'm sure you can hear these helicopters coming from several miles away. They could be gone before we even had a chance to catch them." He said. "Though, I always prefer a stealth approach to something that requires it."

Now watching Kellus forming his furies, Marc nodded after he explained it to everyone. "Now that's what I'm talking about! Not so much the power they possess, but the information they can provide." He was always a man of eavesdropping and knowing secrets to use to his advantage. "I think Kellus and I should scout ahead for them and then radio the position back to you guys to eliminate any confusion. Then, we somehow have to force them to travel in one direction, either with gas, his furies, or bullets." He patted his assault rifle by his hip. "Don't worry, I've got blanks loaded. They hurt like hell if I hit bare flesh."

Jaku moans as all the pains of the transformation subside with a very tired, but lighter and softer tone. The naga slowly lifts up revealing a pair of decently sized breasts that dangle from the chest. She takes a deep breath, head sunk low, and with a straining push, she lifts herself up a bit with her upper right arm. She flops as she sits upright and laying her head back to the sky. Jaku breathes heavily as all four of her arms lay totally lax beside her.

Jaku can feels the agony of the transformation quickly fading away, thanks to Arakin. She smiles as a trail of hardened scales grow up her spine and fade to skin between her shoulderblades.

With almost all of the pains gone, she looks down at Arakin.
But as soon as they make eye contact, for a brief fraction of a moment, the lizard could see a fleeting glimpse of an entire world that could be seen in the deepest reaches of her eyes. Not anything like an emptiness, but a place that is full, and beautifully dynamic, the feeling of a world that lusts to be filled. And in the deepest part of her hypnotic gaze, Tasu smiles, and then. She blinks!
Jaku looks down, her gaze now captivated by the new and strange sight of four, hands, with two thick fingers and a thumb on each. She thinks for a moment and picks up the new lower set of hands in her upper set and without much effort, lifts them closer to her eyes.

She inspects the new appendages, that look almost exactly like the old ones. Scaled on the top, skin on the bottom, thick, leathery, but a with a bit more of a gentle look to them. Without even a second thought, they lift from her hands and flip around. All four hands open, close, twist, turn, and slowly join every finger together. She inspects and feels her lower arms all the way up to her chest, and thats when the sight of her breasts finally seems to hit home.

With a gentle hand, she tucks her lower hands underneath her breasts, while the upper ones, probe, press, feel and eventually squeeze. To her surprise, a thin white stream shoots from the nipple as she squeezes the whole breast. She can't help but blush a bit at the accident!

"Wow… Sso thats it…" she slowly slides her hands off of her new breasts, the lower right hand skillfully wiping up a droplet of her milk. She places her finger on her tongue and smiles, but only for a moment.

With her finger in her mouth, she suddenly looks shocked. Looking down at Arakin at first, then straight down. She slowly slides out her tongue and reveals a fork in her tongue. With a flick of her tail, she opens her tailmaw and sure enough, her thick tongues has a distinctive split down the middle!

And then, her tongues slowly retract, she takes a deep breath and looks down at her lap, cautiously curious to know what's happened beneath her scales. She lifts her lower right hand closer to her sex as her cheeks turn a little red.

Colonel Ara nods. "Aye that they will. That's the objective. The latest satellite images show there are now six nagas living in that area. Trust me. You may think I am going over board. After taking on just one of those damn nagas. You will see why you don't want to take on those nagas in that jungle. They are ruthless killers. Trust me, they will not think twice of killing you and eat your eyes for jujubes. We are confident they are responsible for population decrease of that area. " The Colonel is lying. The main reason for the population decrease is because of the inhabitants that have been taken by the Chimera Project for their experiments. Its been very easy to blame the nagas. Colonel Ara looks over at Kellus. "Very good Kellus." He stands there and nods watching you create your three furies. "Very impressive Kellus. I see our intell was right about you. They are very impressive. " He gives an evil grin watching the three disappear from view. "Very good. That's what I am counting on. Another set of eyes out in the field never hurts." He just laughs coldly. "OOOhh. Trust me. They will run." He chuckles again. "Of course, if the opportunity arises to capture them. Take it but remember, they are very protective of each other. If one is captured, they will go back and try to free them. We want to keep them together and on the run, making them easier to track. Split them up and this all will be for nothing."

Colonel Ara turns to Marc and chuckles. "Oohhh. I could fly a hundred choppers over them and they still wouldn't budge. They know we can't see them from the air in their hiding spot. They are so use to them, I am sure the choppers are just a noisy inconvenience. When they are on the run, that will all change. The stealth approach has been tried a number of times. They all failed, badly." He gestures to the other commanders to get ready to leave. Heavily armed line up behind the transports and others get on board. "No, Today those nagas will be looking for a new home.." He nods. "OK Marc. I am counting on you to keep me updated. I don't care how you do it just as long as you keep them moving." He shakes his head when you talk about the bullets. He is sure you are going to get yourself eaten using them. "I am sure they do hurt. Hopefully they will make the naga throw you up." He laughs and gives you a cold grin. " Ohhh yea, gas. I do hope you brought your gas mask." Showing that he has no problem using gas. He chuckles then waves his arm in a circular motion. "Fire them up." The three transports, other vehicles and the choppers start up at the same time with a deafening roar sending the birds in the area flying into the air. The ground literally shakes from the vibration. The Colonel boards his transport and the transports close up. The massive blades in front of the transports rises ominously off the ground as the transports get ready to leave.

Arkain sighs deeply sliding his hands off Jaku's new body letting the connection with his healing magic fade. Jaku is a lot bigger then he imagined he was. He was glad he was well fed. It took more effort than he thought it would to ease his pain but it was worth it. He will recover quickly. He lays back and relaxes in Jaku's coils continue to watch the last of the transformation. He smiles when Jaku looks down at him. He is quite captivated by the new look in his, now much more, her eyes. He also finds them so captivating they are almost hypnotic. He looks deep into her eyes. For an instant he sees in her eyes an entire world, beautiful, dynamic filled with lusts yet to be full filled. He licks his lips with a lustful grin. Then in the deepest part of her stare, for a second, he sees Tasu smiling at him. He smiles and gives Tasu a big thumbs up. It is clear he is very proud of Tasu. When Jaku blinks, he blinks his eyes then shakes his head. He can't believe it. He had to have been hypnotized by her gaze. That was so fast. Amazing. "Wow Jaku. That is some gaze you have their now. " He watches you look over your arms. "Those are quite impressive. Can't wait to be wrapped up in them."

His jaw drops watching her play with her new breast. He can feel his sheath swell and his member start to get hard especially watching her hand squeeze her nipple and some milk spays out. He murrs deeply watching Jaku skillfully wipe up lick up the milk with her finger. He shakes his head while looking over your body. "You sure were right when you said you would be taking on some of Tamara's physiques. I am sure she would be very impressed. I sure am." He chuckles seeing the fork in both of your tongues. He starts to look around when she start to look closer to at her sex wondering what she is seeing. He is especially curious when Jaku's cheeks turns red. "Soo. What did you see?"

Then he freezes seeing the large flock of birds filling the air flying away in panic. He hears the roar of the transport engines. A look of great concern comes over his face. "Jaku, I have a feeling something is going on at the soldiers camp. I don't like the feeling I am getting this time. I need to check this out. If you let me go, I will go up into the trees and see what's going on. I am sure its nothing to worry about. You just relax and I will be right back."

Kellus watches the transports start up and the men start to climb onboard. That the Colonel was willing to go so far as to use gas, along with how vicious the nagas are is making him question why they were trying to capture them in the first place. With these resources it'd be much easier to simply kill them than to try to capture them alive.

Leaving that thought for another time, Kellus checks the side of the transport and crouches, then simply jumps, a wave seeming to ripple out in the ground under his feet. More then twenty feet in the air, he catches the railing of a walkway on the side of the transport and casually flips over it, landing on the walkway and entering a side door into the huge transport.

"Lets get moving. As soon as someone gets a location on either the lizard or the nagas, I'm heading to the ravine to make sure they won't get out once they're inside, and I'll have my furies help herd them there. Until then I'll keep watch for anything else out there that might give us issues. My furies are out ahead of us and should give us an early warning when we get close."

Marc raised an eyebrow at the Colonel, the sudden change in behavior certainly wasn't sitting well for Marc. He could tell Ara was lying about something, but couldn't place his finger on it. He didn't trust his new leader at all. Gritting his teeth a bit at what the naga's could do, he glanced at his rifle and then at his pack. "I think I'll be fine." He replied uneasily. When the helicopters turned on, Marc slammed his hands over his ears and boarded the transport. "Fucking loud noises..." He grumbled under his breath. Marc had bad feelings about this mission but maybe he could approach the nagas peacefully? He had to try, and his suit could protect him from the trip inside if need be. "Don't worry about the gas, sir. My suit is sealed from the outside and comes with a closed-cycle air system. It provides oxygen to me." He said to the Colonel when they got on board. A grimace was constantly on his face, expressing his concern over this operation that he already predicted to fail.
