If vore was real what would you do?

It would really depend on the circumstances. Years ago, I was down at Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia. There was a gator sunning itself on the grass, so I headed over, lying on the ground about 5 feet in front of it, in order to get a nice picture. The gator yawned, and I watched as the flap of flesh that shielded its throat opened, revealing the dark gullet beyond.
At that moment, my only desires were for the gator to be larger and its jaws big enough for me to rush forward and plunge myself into him.
No, I don't have a death wish and actually seeking out a creature to devour me is not something I dwell upon, but should the opportunity ever present itself, I can't say that I wouldn't willingly feed myself to it.
But this gator was calm and relaxed, showing no sign of being viscious. Were it something with snarling teeth and growling threateningly, my reaction would most likely have been quite different.

For me vore really doesn't carry over to real life.... I might be interested in vore drawing, but even those photo morph doesn't seem to trigger much interest from me. There are exception, of course, like some that are really clever or well done.
Perhaps it have something to do with how I like vore. Since I myself not totally fond on being just nutrition for someone. The threat of being eaten will scare me as much as it will scare the majority of population.
Some how I don't find it surprising that you are interested in a gator with it's mouth yawns wide.... After all, you do runs this web site.

That's a bit of a toughie...Only thing I can say is that, if I ever did become suicidal, I'd probably allow myself to get eaten by someone. But that's rather unlikely, so...
I dunno. If non-digestional vore was possible, I'd be getting eaten all the time. If it always involved digestion, I'd probably stay away from it.

Im with Eka on this one. I think that if the kind of Vore as we imagine it here, became a reality... I would be finding a way to protect myself from it more than anything.
Getting eaten for real doesn't appeal to me at all, and (despite what my artwork might tell you), if I saw someone else being eaten, my first reaction would be how to save them. (well.... unless it was consensual, i suppose)
This is the kind of topic I generally try to stay away from because its so difficultly "out there."
And yes, I'm a hypocritical bastard. So sue me! >=P

Same here. I enjoy a lot drawing vore but I can't imagine something more horrible than being swallowed and digested alive. I would certainly keep away from it, no matter the pred.
Also when you are eaten, you die and when you die, your fantasy ends ^^

I am a feeder, myself. My lover would have the pleasure of being fed whomever she desired, kicking and screaming all the way down, followed by a belly-rub. From the outside from me, and the inside by whomever I fed her.

Hmm real...nope, I would stay clear and probably help people in danger. But then it's weird for if vore were real my world wouldn't be like yours, because I only see human females as predators, so if vore was real for me would be something really weird
But to some degree I want vore in real life, I actually want the computer/gaming-industry or whatever to get a move on and make it possible for people from their home go out onto internet or other and meet up in a virtual world.
Think Eka's chat where people's characters would actually be before you and able to eat/be eaten by you. But everyone would really be save back home, harmless vore, even if it includes digestion.
Preferably the VR thingie would include a "pressure suit" so that you could somewhat feel yourself getting eaten and some sort of scanning device or so, hopefully something that could give the pred and prey inside interaction too, so that the pred could "feel" the prey inside the stomach also. I guess that eould mean no big bellies at least feel wise, but maybe there's a soulution to that too.
Give me virtual vore now!

I'd be spending a lot of time up a very tall tree....
And I'd probably keep a bottle of nausea-inducing medicine nearby just in case the tree tactic doesnt work.
The VR thing would be awesome. But how are you going to feel your meals squirming around inside you?
Maybe matrix-style plugging in. But without all the sunglasses and the kung-fu.

Actually, I'd probably wuss out at the last minute if I was prey in a willing situation.
Anyone ever read Duamatef's universe? The way he's constructed his world seems very appealing to me, the vore process there I don't think I'd mind participating in if it were a reality.

Yepp The description is in the files section along with a whole lot else, it's a rtf-file I think it's easy to spot, not in any folder or anything.

American Alligators are quite docile, though they are very protective of their young/nests. They are also quite fast. And loud at certain times of the year.
I'm going to fabricate a world where vore is real. Let's say people were their characters and whatever. I'd stay the same person I am because I have a life, family, real friends, etc., to whom I have obligations. It's nice as an escapist fantasy, and I may spend more time in escapist fantasies than I do awake doing "real" stuff, and I have no idea what I'm going to do with this real life, but I'm satisfied. Now if it was just a fantasy world with no real consequences in real wold land and it could be toggled on and off, that would be nice, I guess.

As I had mentioned earlier, it really does depend on the circumstances. When I was growing up, most of the vore I had seen was RL vore from documentaries. Cartoons and movies from the late 60's and early 70's really didn't have all that much, and the documentaries at the time had a lot more than we see today. So, my fascination with vore was centered around real creatures becoming food for other real creatures.
It wouldn't be the thought of pain that would turn me away from being eaten, but rather the finality of it. I do thoroughly enjoy life and can't imagine giving that up. But I also can't deny that if anthros existed, and a large wolf or tiger were being friendly and affectionate, and it moved to then swallow me down alive, I would probably let it happen, in order to experience it.
If that same anthro had instead asked me if I wanted to be eaten, I'd probably say thank you, perhaps another time; after taking a few moments to consider all that I would be giving up for that single experience.
The sequence of events would play the deciding factor in my fate, but personal experience has taught me that there are definitely situations under which I would make that ultimate sacrifice. To say 'no', I'd never do it for real, is something I simply cannot do.
I am curious as to how many of the predators around here would actually eat others, if they were capable of doing so, and were fairly certain that there would be no consequences, other than any moral guilt they might have for eating another sentient creature.
Is it easier or harder, to accept the idea of killing another creature as compared to sacrificing oneself? I often fantasize in my mind, what I would do to criminals if I were a creature capable of devouring others whole and alive, and I believe I'd have no regrets on doing that. But could I do it to a stranger who had harmed no one, or perhaps even a lover, in a moment of passion?
I'm not really the predatory type, so it's difficult for me to answer that, which is why I wonder how easy it might be for those around here who consider themselves as predators. If the answer is that it's quite easy, look me up sometime. *smirks*
